- Game On ist eine Wanderausstellung der Barbican Art Gallery, die sich mit der Geschichte der Computerspielentwicklung von ihrer Frühzeit im Jahr 1962 bis zur Gegenwart beschäftigt. Sie gilt als die größte Ausstellung ihrer Art und wurde seit ihrer Ersteröffnung 2002 in der Barbican Art Gallery zudem weiter ausgebaut. Seit 2010 gibt es eine weitere, umfangreichere Form der Ausstellung mit dem Titel Game On 2.0. Nach eigenen Angaben haben bis 2008 mehr als eine Million Besucher weltweit die Ausstellung besucht. - Game On is a touring exhibition on the history and culture of computer games. The exhibition was first shown at the Barbican Centre in London in 2002, and has since been exhibited by Barbican International Enterprises to over 20 countries, where it has been seen by over 2 million people. The exhibition displays notable game developments from the early sixties to the present day, from the PDP-1 in 1960 to contemporary industry releases. It reveals the design processes behind four of the most significant games of recent times: Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto, Pokémon and The Sims, following these games from their initial concept to the final product design. Over 150 playable games are available, including Donkey Kong, Pong and Rock Band, and the top ten most influential games consoles. Game On aims to highlight the wider, global framework of gaming, exploring the influence of manga and anime on computer games, as well as the films that have been influenced by, and continue to influence computer games. The exhibition also considers online gaming, music compositions for games, and the latest game technologies. (en)

- Game On è una mostra itinerante dedicata alla storia e cultura dei videogiochi, la prima grande esposizione internazionale del suo genere.Venne allestita per la prima volta nel 2002 al Barbican Centre di Londra, ed è stata ospitata da molte altre città del mondo, come ad esempio Helsinki, Chicago, Hong Kong, San Paolo, Buenos Aires, Tokyo e Roma. Al 2017 aveva accumulato un totale di più di 3,4 milioni di visitatori in tutto il mondo.Nel 2010 venne lanciata in parallelo Game On 2.0, una versione più ricca nei contenuti. Entrambe le mostre continuano a essere organizzate da Barbican International Enterprises, che le noleggia alle istituzioni ospitanti. Complessivamente sono stati organizzati in media circa due allestimenti all'anno, ciascuno della durata di diversi mesi. (it)
