- The 2020 Six Nations Championship (known as the Guinness Six Nations for sponsorship reasons) was the 21st Six Nations Championship, the annual rugby union competition contested by the national teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales, and the 126th edition of the competition (including all the tournament's previous versions as the Home Nations Championship and Five Nations Championship). The tournament began on 1 February 2020, and was scheduled to conclude on 14 March; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Italy's penultimate match against Ireland and all three of the final weekend's matches were postponed with the intention of being rescheduled. It was the first time any match had been postponed since 2012, and the first time more than one match had been delayed since the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in 2001. In July 2020, a revised fixture schedule was announced, with the last four games being played in October. England became the first team to win the title despite losing their first game since Wales did so in 2013. It was England's 39th title overall (including shared titles), drawing them level with the record Wales set the previous year, and extended their record of 29 outright titles. (en)
- Die Six Nations 2020 waren die 21. Ausgabe des jährlichen Rugby-Union-Turniers Six Nations (mit allen Vorgängerturnieren seit 1883 die insgesamt 126. Ausgabe). Teilnehmer waren die Nationalmannschaften von England, Frankreich, Irland, Italien, Schottland und Wales, die in 15 Spielen gegeneinander antraten. Turniersieger wurde England, das sich gegenüber dem punktgleichen Frankreich wegen eines besseren Spielpunkteverhältnisses durchsetzte und mit Siegen gegen alle Home Nations auch die Triple Crown schaffte. Der Ausbruch der COVID-19-Pandemie in Europa beeinträchtigte den Ablauf des Turniers stark. Aus diesem Grund mussten vier Spiele auf Ende Oktober verschoben werden. - Le Tournoi des Six Nations 2020 est prévu initialement du 1er février au 14 mars 2020 et doit être disputé en cinq journées réparties sur sept semaines, avec des pauses avant et après la troisième journée. Toutefois, à cause de la pandémie de Covid-19 croissante pendant le tournoi et des restrictions de déplacements, un match de la quatrième journée et les trois matchs de la cinquième doivent être reportés et sont joués en octobre 2020. La compétition se déroule comme chaque année, chacune des six nations participantes affronte toutes les autres. Le vainqueur de cette édition est l'Angleterre. Le Tournoi féminin et celui des moins de 20 ans se jouent aux mêmes dates et les équipes des mêmes nations se rencontrent. Les trois équipes qui ont en 2020 l'avantage de jouer un match de plus à domicile que les autres sont l'Irlande, le pays de Galles et la France. (fr)

Noto per motivi di sponsorizzazione come 2020 Guinness Six Nations Championship a seguito di accordo di partnership commerciale con il birrificio irlandese Guinness, si tenne dal 1º febbraio al 31 ottobre 2020. Svoltosi regolarmente nelle prime tre giornate, subì uno stravolgimento a causa della pandemia di COVID-19 che tra febbraio e marzo 2020 colpì l'Europa e che ne provocò rinvii a causa del blocco totale delle attività sportive per diversi mesi nella fase più acuta dell'emergenza sanitaria: solo a ottobre fu possibile portare a termine la competizione, con sette mesi di slittamento rispetto alla data prevista e a poco più di tre mesi dall'avvio dell'edizione seguente.Il torneo fu vinto dall'Inghilterra, al suo trentanovesimo successo complessivo, che terminò prima in classifica a pari punti della Francia; si trattò quindi della settima edizione del Sei Nazioni decisa dalla discriminante tra punti fatti e subiti, nonché la decima in assoluto dall'edizione 1994, anno dell'abolizione delle vittorie condivise. - Puchar Sześciu Narodów 2020 (2020 Six Nations Championship, a także od nazwy sponsora turnieju, Guinness – 2020 Guinness 6 Nations) – dwudziesta pierwsza edycja Pucharu Sześciu Narodów, corocznego turnieju w rugby union rozgrywanego pomiędzy sześcioma najlepszymi europejskimi zespołami narodowymi. Turniej zaplanowany do rozegrania pomiędzy 1 lutego a 14 marca 2020 roku ostatecznie zakończył się 31 października 2020 roku. Wliczając turnieje w poprzedniej formie, od czasów Home Nations Championship i Pucharu Pięciu Narodów, była to 126. edycja tych zawodów. W turnieju wzięły udział reprezentacje narodowe Anglii, Francji, Irlandii, Szkocji, Walii i Włoch. Rozkład gier opublikowano w połowie marca 2019 roku, zaś sędziowie spotkań zostali wyznaczeni na początku grudnia tegoż roku. Z powodu pandemii COVID-19 przełożono spotkanie Irlandia-Włochy z czwartej rundy oraz całą piątą kolejkę gier na późniejszy termin. W drugiej połowie lipca World Rugby zaproponowała nowe okienko rozgrywania meczów międzynarodowych, zatem na początku sierpnia ogłoszono harmonogram dokończenia rozgrywek z meczami zaplanowanymi na koniec października. Sędziowie przełożonych spotkań pochodzili jedynie z Europy i zostali ogłoszeni pod koniec września – wśród nich był Nigel Owens, który miał poprowadzić setny testmecz w karierze oraz będąca pierwszą kobietą w roli sędziego telewizyjnego podczas najpoważniejszych męskich zawodów. Zwycięzca meczu zyskiwał cztery punkty, za remis przysługiwały dwa punkty, porażka nie była punktowana, a zdobycie przynajmniej czterech przyłożeń lub przegrana nie więcej niż siedmioma punktami premiowana była natomiast punktem bonusowym. Dodatkowo zdobywca Wielkiego Szlema otrzymałby trzy dodatkowe punkty, by uniknąć sytuacji, że nie wygrałby całych zawodów pomimo pokonania wszystkich rywali. Po planowym zwycięstwie w dokończonej czwartej kolejce Irlandczycy największe szanse na końcową wygraną mając jeden punkt przewagi nad Anglią i Francją. Wysokie bonusowe zwycięstwo nad Włochami dało Anglikom triumf w całym turnieju, bowiem Francja wygrała z Irlandią niewystarczającą różnicą punktów. Najwięcej punktów w turnieju zdobył , zaś w klasyfikacji przyłożeń z czterema zwyciężył . Z grona sześciu zawodników wytypowanych przez organizatorów za najlepszego został uznany francuski łącznik młyna, . Podczas zawodów pięćdziesiąte występy w narodowej reprezentacji zaliczyli Jonathan Joseph, i , w setnym testmeczu wystąpili zaś Ben Youngs i . Sponsorem turnieju drugi rok była marka Guinness. (pl)
