- Primavera Sound és un Festival de música que se celebra entre finals de maig i principis de juny a Barcelona, Catalunya. La seva primera edició va tenir lloc l'any 2001 al Poble Espanyol i des del 2005 té la seu al Parc del Fòrum, un recinte més gran i situat al costat del mar. La fisonomia del festival (de caràcter urbà i integrat a la ciutat) i l'ampli ventall de grups representats ha motivat que el Primavera Sound sigui punt de trobada d'artistes i espectadors de diferents generacions. El festival reuneix als seus cartells les últimes propostes musicals de l'àmbit independent juntament amb artistes de contrastada trajectòria, abastant qualsevol estil o gènere, cercant la qualitat i apostant essencialment pel pop, el rock i les tendències més underground de la música electrònica i de ball. Pels seus escenaris han passat Pixies, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, The National, Nine Inch Nails, Kendrick Lamar, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Portishead, Pet Shop Boys, Pavement, , Lou Reed, My Bloody Valentine, , Pulp, Patti Smith, James Blake, Cat Power, Public Enemy, , Franz Ferdinand, , , Enrique Morente, The White Stripes, , , PJ Harvey, Shellac, Dinosaur Jr., New Order, , , , , , The Cure, Bon Iver, La Buena Vida, Death Cab For Cutie, , De La Soul, Marianne Faithfull, , Blur, Wu-Tang Clan, Phoenix, The Jesus and Mary Chain i Tame Impala, entre moltíssims d'altres. A cada edició l'esdeveniment ha anat incrementant l'assistència de públic i la repercussió als principals mitjans de premsa, ràdio i televisió, tant en l'àmbit nacional com internacional. Si la primera edició de 2001 va tancar amb una assistència de 8.000 persones, a la seva última edició l'any 2015 va sobrepassar les 190.000. (ca)
- Primavera Sound je hudební festival, který se od roku 2001 každoročně koná v Barceloně ve Španělsku na sklonku května, popřípadě začátkem června. Festival se odehrává uvnitř volnočasového komplexu Parc del Fòrum vzdáleného přibližně šest kilometrů na severovýchod od centra Barcelony. S návštěvností přesahující od roku 2010 sto tisíc návštěvníků patří událost mezi největší španělské hudební festivaly. Festival je vyhlášený svým eklektickým programem, důrazem na nezávislou hudbu a jakožto showcase představující čerstvé mezinárodní i domácí umělce. Šíře zastoupených hudebních žánrů zahrnuje alternativní hudbu, indie, hip hop, taneční hudbu, folkovou hudbu, jazz, metal a experimentální hudbu. Mezi významná jména, která na tomto festivalu v dřívějších letech vystoupila, se zařadili Arcade Fire, The National, Sonic Youth, The White Stripes, Primal Scream, John Cale, New Order, The Stooges, Lou Reed, Motörhead, The Smashing Pumpkins, Portishead, Neil Young, Pavement, Pet Shop Boys, Pulp, The Cure anebo Blur. Druhá edice festivalu, NOS Primavera Sound, byla představena roku 2012. Tato událost se odehrává v Portu v Portugalsku týden od skončení barcelonské edice. - Primavera Sound ist ein Open-Air-Festival in Barcelona. Das Festival fand erstmals 2001 im Freilichtmuseum Poble Espanyol statt. Etwa 8.000 Zuschauer konnten Acts wie Armand Van Helden und Faze Action erleben. Die folgenden Jahre stiegen die Zuschauerzahlen. 2005 zog man in das neugebaute Freigelände Parc del Fórum um. Ab 2010 hatte man stets über 100.000 Besucher an bis zu fünf Veranstaltungstagen. Seit 2012 gibt es ein Partnerfestival in der portugiesischen Stadt Porto. Zur Durchsetzung der Geschlechtergerechtigkeit bucht das Festival seit 2019 etwa 50 % Künstlerinnen. 2020 und 2021 musste das Festival wegen der COVID-19-Pandemie abgesagt werden. Die nächste Ausgabe fand im Jahr 2022 an 2 Wochenenden statt. Des Weiteren wurden weitere Festivals in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile und Sao Paulo für dasselbe Jahr geplant. (de)

- Primavera Sound (commonly referred to as simply Primavera) is an annual music festival held in Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain that takes place between the end of May and beginning of June. The first edition took place in 2001 in Poble Espanyol and moved to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. The nature of the festival (urban and an integrated part of the city) and the wide range of bands represented have made Primavera Sound a meeting point for artists and spectators from all generations. Primavera Sound is one of the largest and most-attended music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean. The success of the festival led to an expansion to Porto in 2012. This one takes place at the Parque da Cidade a week after the main edition. In 2022, the festival announced four new editions taking place in Los Angeles, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires and São Paulo. A much smaller version of the festival, Primavera Weekender, has been taking place in Benidorm each November since 2019. The festival presents all genres including pop, indie, rock and the most underground tendencies of electronic and dance music. Il festival, tenutosi fino al 2004 al Poble Espanyol, ha luogo dall'edizione del 2005 al Parc del Fòrum sempre a Barcellona, in Spagna, e deve il suo nome al periodo in cui cade, la fine della primavera. - Het Primavera Sound is een jaarlijks muziekfestival in Barcelona, voor het eerst gehouden in 2001. Het festival richt zich op indierock, noiserock, alternatieve elektronische muziek en andere alternatieve rockmuziek. Het festival wordt gehouden aan de kust naast de haven voor privéjachten in architectonische Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona en in Edificio Fórum, het markante blauwzwarte driehoekige gebouw voor het park. De organisatie werkt samen met All Tomorrow's Parties, waardoor de programmering veel overlap heeft. Naast de lente-editie is er tevens een korte editie in december. (nl)

A primeira edição ocorreu no , porém, após ter sua localização movida, possui, desde 2005, o Parc del Fòrum como sede. É um dos maiores e mais visitados festivais de música europeus e o maior do Mediterrâneo. É celebrado durante três dias no final de maio ou início de junho, e tem como objetivo divulgar as últimas tendências na música, na sua maioria independentes, particularmente do rock e pop, com a presença das bandas mais prestigiadas e DJs na cena internacional. Além de marcar o desempenho dos artistas estabelecidos, o festival oferece a possibilidade de divulgação de talentos desconhecidos do grande público. O sucesso do festival levou a realização de um evento paralelo em 2012 no Porto, Portugal. Este evento ocorre uma semana após o festival espanhol no Parque da Cidade. Em 2022, serão inaugurados quatro novos festivais, com novas edições que serão sediadas em Los Angeles, Santiago, Buenos Aires e São Paulo. (pt)
