- Neviditelná univerzita je ve fiktivním světě Zeměplochy škola ve městě Ankh-Morporku (v části Ankh). Její vedení je tvořeno z valné části bláznivými nebo pošetilými starými mágy. Neviditelná univerzita se považuje za největší a nejlepší, protože je jedinou svého druhu na Zeměploše - v knize Poslední kontinent ovšem zjistíme, že existuje alespoň jedna další. Studenti se zde učí, jak používat a hlavně nepoužívat magii, protože správný mág ví, že je zrádná a že každá akce má svou reakci. (cs)
- La Universidad Invisible (UI) es una institución imaginaria, creada por el escritor británico Terry Pratchett para su Mundodisco. La Universidad Invisible es el centro de estudio de magia más grande del Disco. Su sede principal está en la ciudad de Ankh-Morpork, aunque hay otras sedes en lugares tan lejanos como el Continente XXXX. El lema de la institución, en el escudo de la UI, - Nunc id Vides, Nunc ne Vides - significa "ahora la ves, ahora no la ves". La universidad tiene su centro en la Torre del Arte, alrededor de la cual creció. Debido a los altos niveles de magia residual en la vecindad, un mapa de la UI se parece vagamente a un crisantemo explotando y sólo es válido por alrededor de un día, aunque se acepta en general que el interior de la UI es más grande que lo que los muros exteriores podrían contener en circunstancias normales. Esta es también la razón de varias anormalidades físicas y biológicas que la afectan. En la novela Ritos Iguales se dice que el fundador fue Alberto Malich, también conocido como "Malich el Sabio", quien posteriormente se descubre que es Albert, el sirviente y cocinero de La Muerte. Located in the fictional city of Ankh-Morpork, the UU is staffed by a faculty composed of mostly indolent and inept old wizards. The university's name is a pun on the Invisible College, and many aspects of the university are references to Oxford and Cambridge University. The exploits of the head wizards of the Unseen University are one of the main plot threads in the long-running fantasy series, and have played a central role in 13 novels to date, as well as the four supplementary Science of Discworld novels and the short story, A Collegiate Casting-Out of Devilish Devices.
