Eileen Evelyn Greer Garson, CBE (September 29, 1904 - April 6, 1996) was an English-American actress who was very popular during the years of the Second World War. As one of MGM's major stars of the 1940s, Garson received seven Academy Award nominations, winning the Best Actress award for Mrs. Miniver (1942). She was often cast as the leading lady opposite Walter Pidgeon.

Protagonizó diversas películas que fueron un éxito de taquilla como Más fuerte que el orgullo, Madame Curie o La señora Parkington . Su interpretación de una mujer superviviente de los desastres de la guerra en la película La señora Miniver (1942), le valió el premio Oscar a la mejor actriz. En 1951 se convirtió en ciudadana americana aunque a finales de esa década sus papeles empezaron a ser cada vez menos importantes.
