- Denez Prigent (aussi appelé Denez), né le 17 février 1966 à Santec dans le Finistère, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète français de chants en langue bretonne. Ses genres de prédilection sont le kan ha diskan, chant et contre-chant à danser et surtout la gwerz, chant dramatique racontant un fait historique ou un conte emprunté à la mythologie bretonne ou celtique. Depuis ses débuts sur scène à seize ans, il s'est fait connaître en interprétant des chants traditionnels a cappella, puis en renouvelant la musique bretonne par des textes originaux accompagnés d'une musique mêlant instruments acoustiques et échantillons électroniques et, depuis quelques années, en se faisant accompagner par une instrumentation acoustique métissée (duduk arménien, violon à cornet manouche, cajón andalou, derbouka marocaine, tablas indiens, daf iranien, bendir…). Auteur de sept albums studio, deux live ainsi que d'un best of, il donne régulièrement des concerts en France et dans d'autres pays. Depuis 2011, il tourne et publie sous le seul prénom de Denez.
