- Aliann Pompey (Aliann Tabitha Omalara Pompey; * 9. März 1978 in Georgetown) ist eine guyanische Sprinterin, die sich auf den 400-Meter-Lauf spezialisiert hat. 2000 wurde sie für das startend NCAA-Hallenmeisterin. Bei den Olympischen Spielen in Sydney 2000 schied sie im Vorlauf aus, und bei den Leichtathletik-Weltmeisterschaften 2001 in Edmonton erreichte sie das Halbfinale. 2002 siegte sie bei den Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Im Jahr darauf gewann sie Bronze bei den Panamerikanischen Spielen in Santo Domingo, kam aber bei den WM in Paris/Saint-Denis nicht über die erste Runde hinaus. 2004 gelangte sie bei den Olympischen Spielen in Athen ins Halbfinale. Nach einem Vorrunden-Aus bei den WM 2005 in Helsinki drang sie bei den WM 2007 in Osaka, bei den Olympischen Spielen 2008 in Peking und bei den WM 2009 in Berlin jeweils ins Halbfinale vor. 2010 wurde sie Fünfte bei den Hallenweltmeisterschaften in Doha und holte jeweils Silber bei den Zentralamerika- und Karibikspielen in Mayagüez und bei den Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Bei den WM 2011 in Daegu scheiterte sie in der ersten Runde, bei den Olympischen Spielen 2012 in London erreichte sie erneut das Halbfinale. (de)
- Aliann Tabitha Omalara Pompey OLY (born 9 March 1978) is a Guyanese sprinter who specializes in the 400 metres. She has represented Guyana at the Summer Olympics on four separate occasions (2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012). She has competed at the World Championships in Athletics eleven times. Pompey won the gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and also won a bronze medal at the 2003 Pan American Games. She holds the South American indoor record for the 400 m. She participated at the World Championships in Athletics in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011 as well as the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2001, 2003 2004, 2006 and 2010 and the Summer Olympics in 2000, 2004 and 2008 and 2012 without reaching the final. Her personal best time is 50.71 seconds, achieved in August 2009 at the World Championships in Berlin. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, she moved to the United States at the age of 14 and graduated from Cohoes High School, and then Manhattan College in The Bronx, New York City. Initially uninterested in track and field, she began to take running seriously in 1995, quickly reducing her 400 metres best time to 53 seconds and winning the state championships. She won the 400 m at the 2000 NCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, becoming the Manhattan Jaspers' first ever female national champion. She received her bachelor's degree from Manhattan College in 1999. (en)

Zdobyła srebrny medal igrzysk Wspólnoty Narodów (2010) – pierwotnie zajmowała trzecią lokatę jednak kilka dni po finale okazało się, że druga na mecie Folashade Abugan stosowała niedozwolony doping i odebrano jej medal.
