- The 2010–11 Amlin Challenge Cup was the 15th season of the European Challenge Cup, Europe's second-tier club rugby union competition, and the second to be sponsored by the British insurance company Amlin. The tournament began on 7 October 2010, with the final played on 20 May 2011 at Cardiff City Stadium, the day before the 2011 Heineken Cup Final in the same city at Millennium Stadium. A total of 23 teams from six countries participated. The competition began with 20 teams; three more teams that began their seasons in the Heineken Cup parachuted into the knockout stage. Cardiff Blues did not defend their title, as by winning the 2009–10 cup, they qualified for the 2010–11 Heineken Cup, and did not parachute into the Challenge Cup. Harlequins claimed the title with a 19–18 win over Stade Français, becoming the first team to win the Challenge Cup three times. The victory also sent Quins into the 2011–12 Heineken Cup. (en)

- La temporada 2010-2011 de la European Challenge Cup fue la 16ª edición de la segunda competición continental del rugby europeo. Como viene siendo habitual los últimos años, 20 serán los equipos participantes, divididos en 5 grupos de 4, para afrontar la primera fase de la competición, que es la fase de grupos. Tras las 6 jornadas correspondientes a esta primera fase, vendrán los cuartos de final y semifinales, a partido único, y la final. La primera jornada se disputó el 8 de octubre de 2010, y la gran final tendrá lugar en mayo de 2011. El equipo que defenderá su título obtenido la pasada temporada es Cardiff Blues, que logró por primera ocasión proclamarse campeón, venciendo en la final a RC Toulon. Este año Francia aporta 7 equipos al torneo, Inglaterra 6, Italia 4, Irlanda 1, Rumanía 1 y España 1. El club español que participa esta temporada en la European Challenge Cup es El Salvador de Valladolid como campeón de la Liga Española de Rugby en la temporada 2009/10. (es)
- Le Challenge européen 2010-2011 oppose pour la saison 2010-2011 vingt équipes européennes de rugby à XV : sept françaises, six anglaises, quatre italiennes, une espagnole, une irlandaise et une roumaine. La compétition se déroule du 7 octobre 2010 au 20 mai 2011 date de la finale. La compétition est organisée en deux phases. Une première phase de poules se déroulent en matchs aller-retour à la fin de laquelle sont issues les cinq équipes ayant terminé en tête de leur groupe. La compétition se poursuit par une phase à élimination directe à partir des quarts de finale. Si tenne dal 7 ottobre 2010 al 21 maggio 2011 tra 20 squadre provenienti da 6 federazioni (Francia, Inghilterra, Irlanda, Italia, Romania e Spagna).Come l'anno precedente, accolse a partire dai quarti di finale le migliori tre squadre non qualificate alle fasi a eliminazione diretta di Heineken Cup, nessuna delle quali, tuttavia, giunse più avanti della semifinale: il torneo fu vinto, per la terza volta, dai londinesi Harlequins che batterono in finale i parigini dello Stade français con il punteggio di 19-18 al termine di una gara equilibrata e decisa solo nel finale. La competizione ebbe anche una coda sotto l'aspetto disciplinare perché Bourgoin-Jallieu e Newcastle furono deferiti per la mancata disputa dell'incontro che li vedeva di fronte nella fase a gironi in casa del club francese; data l'impraticabilità del campo, infatti, l'incontro avrebbe dovuto giocarsi il giorno dopo, ma gli inglesi non si presentarono, mentre invece ai francesi fu imputata la mancanza di diligenza nel fornire una sede alternativa.Entrambe le società furono punite con un anno di squalifica con la sospensione della sanzione a condizione che per un quinquennio non si rendessero responsabili di analoga irregolarità, ma l'incontro fu dato vinto per 28-0 e 5 punti in classifica al Bourgoin-Jallieu.
