D'une capacité de 15 000 places, ce stade est formé de trois tribunes. Il sera le plus grand stade du Limousin jusqu'à la rénovation du stade de Beaublanc, à Limoges, qui est actuellement en cours. Il ne peut cependant accueillir que 13 979 spectateurs pour les rencontres de Top 14 en raison du règlement de sécurité imposé par les différents organisateurs de cette compétition. (fr)
- The Stade Amédée-Domenech is a multi-purpose stadium in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France. It is currently used mostly for rugby union matches and is the home stadium of CA Brive. The stadium is able to hold 16,000. Its official name was the Stadium until 2004, but it was called Stade Amedee-Domenech after the French international rugby player Amédée Domenech died in 2003. The Stade Amédée-Domenech is the theatre of the matches of the Brive rugby team since 1921. There were some interruptions. From 1938 to 1941, the Brive rugby XIII team has played to the Stadium, and at the beginning of the Second World War, the field was invaded by army's machines. And till 1957 to 1960, there were refection works in the Stadium, which was damaged. There were important rugby matches in the Stadium. In October 1991, a Rugby World Cup match between Romania and Fiji, and two years later, the France national team played there against Romania.There were also football matches in the Stade Amedee-Domenech. The local football team, ESA Brive, has played important matches of the French Cup, especially in 2004, against the AJ Auxerre and Paris Saint-Germain. L'impianto, di proprietà municipale, è stato sottoposto a diversi lavori di rinnovamento, tra cui i maggiori nel 2011, con la costruzione di una nuova gradinata sul lato corto del campo, e nel 2019 con il rifacimento del fondo di gioco, mai cambiato dal 1956.Lo stadio ha una capacità di circa 14 000 posti, di cui 10 000 sulle tribune laterali. Deve il suo nome al rugbista internazionale Amédée Domenech (1933-2003) cui fu intitolato nel 2004 dopo la sua morte.In precedenza era noto come Parc Municipal des Sports, nome con cui ospitò alcuni incontri della Coppa del Mondo 1991 organizzata dall'Inghilterra.
