- Inês Monteiro (Inês Alexandra das Neves Monteiro; * 5. Mai 1980 in Ramela, Guarda) ist eine portugiesische Langstreckenläuferin. Sie wurde im Freien viermal nationale Meisterin über 1500 m und je einmal über 5000 m und 10.000 m. Bei den Olympischen Spielen 2004 in Athen schied sie über 5000 m im Vorlauf aus. Ein Jahr später kam sie bei den Leichtathletik-Weltmeisterschaften in Helsinki im 3000-Meter-Hindernislauf auf den 13. Platz. 2008 wurde sie Fünfte beim Rotterdam-Marathon und qualifizierte sich damit für die Olympischen Spiele in Peking, bei deren Marathon sie jedoch nicht das Ziel erreichte. Bei den Leichtathletik-Weltmeisterschaften 2009 in Berlin wurde sie über 10.000 m Zehnte. Zwei Monate später siegte sie beim Great South Run über 10 Meilen mit der Landesbestzeit von 52:32 min. Inês Monteiro ist 1,59 m groß und wiegt 46 kg. Sie startete für den Maratona Clube de Portugal und wurde von Pedro Martins trainiert. (de)
- Inês Alexandra das Neves Monteiro (born 18 May 1980) is a Portuguese athlete who competes in middle and long-distance track running, as well as road running and cross country. She started out as a cross country runner, winning a silver and a gold medal at the 1998 and 1999 European junior race. She has represented Portugal at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, and has competed twice at the World Championships in Athletics. She is a regular performer at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, generally finishing around 30th place. Monteiro made her marathon debut in 2008 and finished fifth at the Rotterdam Marathon. She is the most successful athlete at the , having won the competition six times. She represents in club competitions. (en)
