Ο Ολυμπιακός ισοβάθμησε στο τέλος του πρωταθλήματος με τον Παναθηναϊκό, όμως κατέλαβε την πρώτη θέση καθώς υπερίσχυσε στους μεταξύ τους αγώνες. (el)
- The 2002–03 Alpha Ethniki was the 67th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 24 August 2002 and ended on 25 May 2003. Olympiacos won their seventh consecutive and 32nd Greek title. Olympiacos and Panathinaikos finished the League with the same points total but Olympiacos were crowned champions due to more favourable results between the two teams. It was a very dramatic end to the season, with the decisive game between the two clubs taking place in the penultimate round. The season was interrupted by strike action after television broadcaster Alpha Digital collapsed in September 2002, following which the players didn't play for a month. (en)
- La saison 2002-2003 du Championnat de Grèce de football était la 55e édition de la première division grecque. Lors de cette saison, l'Olympiakos, tenant depuis 6 ans, a tenté de conserver son titre de champion de Grèce face aux quinze meilleurs clubs grecs lors d'une série de matchs se déroulant sur toute l'année. Les seize clubs participants au championnat ont été confrontés à deux reprises aux quinze autres. L'Olympiakos termine en tête pour la 7e saison consécutive et remporte le championnat de Grèce pour la 32e fois de son histoire. La fin de saison a été passionnante, puisque le titre s'est joué à la différence de buts particulière entre l'Olympiakos et le Panathinaikos. Grâce à une victoire lors de l'avant-dernière journée 3-0 sur le Panathinaikos, le club du Pirée "efface" sa défaite 3-2 concédée à l'aller et assure son sacre en allant battre l'AO Xanthi 5-1 pour le dernier match de la saison. Le 3e, l'AEK Athènes ne termine qu'à 2 points des deux premiers. Enfin, le club d'Ioannina, le PAS Giannina, termine la saison avec le total de ... -65 points. En effet, à la suite de nombreuses dettes envers plusieurs clubs (la somme totale avoisine les 900 000€), le club commence la saison avec une pénalité de 12 points. La décision est annulée à la suite d'un appel du club mais en avril 2003, la sanction est finalement alourdie puisque le club est sanctionné de 3 points par match de championnat disputé soit 90 points de pénalité. Ayant obtenu 25 points sur le terrain (6 victoires et 7 nuls), ils finissent donc avec un total de -65 points. (fr)
