- Zzap!64 était un magazine britannique spécialisé dans l'actualité vidéoludique du Commodore 64 et Amiga. Il donna naissance à une version italienne, intitulée simplement Zzap!, composée en grande partie d'article traduits, mais ouverte sur les autres ordinateurs 8-bits (ZX Spectrum). (fr)
- Zzap!64 è stata una rivista britannica dedicata ai videogiochi per Commodore 64, pubblicata prima dalla Newsfield Publications Ltd e in seguito dalla Europress Impact. Solo in un secondo tempo si dedicò anche ai giochi per Amiga. Il primo numero è datato maggio 1985 e le pubblicazioni continuarono fino al novembre 1992. Ci furono quindi radicali cambiamenti nella testata, che riprese con il titolo Commodore Force, che chiuse definitivamente nel marzo 1994. Una rivista "sorella", chiamata Crash, si occupava invece dei titoli per ZX Spectrum. La rivista Zzap! nacque come versione italiana di Zzap!64. (it)
- Zzap!64 was a computer games magazine covering games on the Commodore International series of computers, especially the Commodore 64 (C64). It was published in the UK by Newsfield Publications Ltd and later by Europress Impact. The magazine launched in April, with the cover date May 1985, as the sister magazine to CRASH. It focused on the C64 for much of its shelf life, but later incorporated Amiga game news and reviews. Like CRASH for the ZX Spectrum, it had a dedicated cult following amongst C64 owners and was well known for its irreverent sense of humour as well as its extensive, detailed coverage of the C64 scene. The magazine adopted an innovative review system that involved the use of the reviewers' faces, artistically rendered by in-house artists Oli Frey and Mark Kendrick, to express their reaction to the games. These eventually evolved into static cartoons as the magazine began catering for a younger market. By 1992, the magazine had changed so dramatically in design and editorial direction that then-publisher Europress decided to relaunch the magazine. Thus, issue 91 of Zzap!64 became issue 1 of Commodore Force, a magazine that itself lasted until March 1994. (en)

Från början innehöll den enbart information om c64-spel men under 1988 började man med att då och då även beröra Amiga-spel. Från och med oktober 1988 blev Amiga en permanent del i tidningen ända tills nummer 74 (juni 1991) då tidningen återgick till att bara beröra c64-spel. Nummer 90 blev officiellt det sista numret av ZZap! 64 eftersom tidningen då bytte namn på grund av ägarbyte. Det nya namnet blev . (sv)
