- The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada is a Primary Reserve infantry regiment of the Canadian Army. It is part of the 3rd Canadian Division's 38 Canadian Brigade Group and is headquartered at the Minto Armoury in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is the oldest highland regiment in Western Canada. (en)
- The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada (Camerons of C), littéralement « Les Highlanders de Cameron de la Reine du Canada », sont un régiment d'infanterie de la Première réserve de l'Armée canadienne. Il fait partie du 38e Groupe-brigade du Canada au sein de la 3e Division du Canada et est stationné à Winnipeg au Manitoba. Il s'agit du plus ancien régiment écossais de l'Ouest canadien. L'unité a été créée en 1910 sous le nom de « The 79th Highlanders of Canada », littéralement « Les 79e Highlanders du Canada ». En 1920, elle devint « The Cameron Highlanders of Canada » avant d'adopter son nom actuel trois ans plus tard. En plus de leur propre histoire, The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada perpétuent l'héritage de trois bataillons du Corps expéditionnaire canadien (CEC) de la Première Guerre mondiale : les 43e, 174e et 179e Bataillon "outre-mer", CEC. Un membre du 43e Bataillon (Cameron Highlanders of Canada), CEC, le lieutenant Robert Shankland, a été décoré de la croix de Victoria, la plus haute récompense des forces du Commonwealth, pour ses actions au cours de la bataille de Passchendaele. Les soldats des Cameron Highlanders of Canada ont combattu lors de la Première Guerre mondiale, principalement au sein du (en) et du 43e Bataillon, CEC.
