120 Paintings from the Rijksmuseum is a selection of paintings that were included in a booklet of illustrations in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam giftshop for visitors during the years 1950–1990. It is now in the collection of the National Gallery of Art. Various other paintings were on long-term loan from the Amsterdam Museum and have been returned, but the majority are all still in the collection of the Rijksmuseum today. Il a été publié dans les années 1950-1990. Cette sélection fut dressée pour l'essentiel par le directeur de l'époque, David Röell. La peinture « Paysage fluvial avec vue sur Herwen et Aerdt dans le Gelderland » de Salomon Van Ruysdael fut restituée au héritier de Jacques Goudstikker en 2006 et se trouve actuellement dans la collection du National Gallery of Art de Washington.
