- Viața Românească (Romanian: [ˈvjat͡sa romɨˈne̯askə], "The Romanian Life") is a monthly literary magazine published in Romania. Formerly the platform of the left-wing traditionalist trend known as poporanism, it is now one of the Writers' Union of Romania's main venues. The magazine, dedicated to literary and scientific issues, was published from March 1906 to August 1916 and from September 1920 to September 1940, first in Iași and then, after 1930, in Bucharest. The magazine was under the leadership of Constantin Stere (in charge of political content), Paul Bujor and, later, Ioan Cantacuzino (for scientific matters), Garabet Ibrăileanu (until 1933), Mihai Ralea and George Călinescu (for literary matters). Suppressed by the fascist National Legionary State in 1940, Viața Românească resumed publishing, first in a transitional form, from November 1944 to July 1946, when it was edited by Ralea. Finally, the present magazine was published from July 1948 as a monthly magazine of the Romanian Writers' Society and, from March 1949, of the Writers' Union of Romania. (en)
- Viaţa românească (pol. „życie rumuńskie”) – rumuńskie czasopismo o profilu literackim i naukowym, ukazujące się w okresie od marca 1906 do sierpnia 1916 i od września 1920 do września 1930 w Jassach, a od 1930 do września 1940 w Bukareszcie. W 1940 roku wydawanie pisma zostało zawieszone. Pismo miało nawiązywać do tradycji „Dacia literară”. Propagowało zwrócenie się ku wsi, mającej być nosicielem rumuńskiego ducha, jednak nie odrzucało kultury światowej. Według „Viaţa românească” jednym z głównych celów literatury miało być wzbudzenie sympatii dla warstw chłopskich przy jednoczesnym podniesieniu poziomu kulturalnego wsi. Miało się to odbywać poprzez tworzenie realistycznych dzieł, w których centralną postacią był rumuński chłop. Z „Viaţa românească” współpracowali m.in: Mihail Sadoveanu, , , , Jean Bart, Ion Luca Caragiale, Barbu Delavrancea, , Alexandru Vlahuță, George Coșbuc, , , Gala Galaction, Octavian Goga, , Tudor Arghezi, Ion Barbu, , . Pismem kierowali: , pisarz (1862–1952), bakteriolog (1863–1934), (sekretarz redakcji od 1933 r.), psycholog i polityk (1896–1964) oraz George Călinescu. Pismo było wydawane także pomiędzy listopadem 1944 a lipcem 1946, tytuł wznowiono w czerwcu 1948 r. jako miesięcznik . (pl)
