- Letopisy Narnie je britská filmová série založená na stejnojmenné knižní heptalogii C. S. Lewise z 50. let 20. století. V prvním desetiletí 21. století byly zfilmovány tři knihy, první snímek měl premiéru v roce 2005. Trojice filmů dohromady utržila přes 1,5 mld. USD. Ústřední postavy série představuje skupina dětí, které se do Narnie dostávají z válečné Británie a jež tam provádí moudrý a mocný lev Aslan (animace namluvená Liamem Neesonem). Hlavní zápornou postavou je zlá Bílá čarodějnice (Jadis z Charnu, herecky ztvárněná Tildou Swinton). První tři filmy produkovala společnost Walden Media. První dva filmy – Letopisy Narnie: Lev, čarodějnice a skříň a Letopisy Narnie: Princ Kaspian – režíroval Andrew Adamson, třetí film Letopisy Narnie: Plavba Jitřního poutníka pak . Smlouva Walden Media s dědici C. S. Lewise uplynula v roce 2011 po natočení třetího filmu. V roce 2013 dědici uzavřeli smlouvu s novými producenty, kteří připravovali natočení dalšího filmu – The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair. Snímek měl režírovat Joe Johnston, k realizaci filmu ale nedošlo. V listopadu 2018 ohlásila společnost Netflix uzavření smlouvy s C. S. Die Reihe umfasst bisher drei Filme und begann mit Die Chroniken von Narnia: Der König von Narnia aus dem Jahr 2005 und erzählt die Abenteuer der Pevensie-Geschwister Peter, Susan, Edmund und Lucy sowie deren Cousin Eustachius Knilch in der fiktiven Zauberwelt Narnia, die in den einzelnen Filmen auf unterschiedliche Art und Weisen aus Großbritannien dorthin geraten. Die genannten Rollen wurden von William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley und Will Poulter verkörpert. Ein weiterer Hauptdarsteller ist Ben Barnes als Prinz Kaspian X. Regie führten Andrew Adamson und Michael Apted. Produzenten aller bisherigen Teile waren und Mark Johnson; sie übten die Aufgabe jedoch bisher mit mindestens zwei weiteren Personen aus. La serie gira en torno a las aventuras de niños en el mundo ficticio de Narnia, guiados por Aslan, un león parlante y el verdadero rey de Narnia. La mayoría de los niños destacados fueron los hermanos Pevensie y la antagonista destacada fue la Bruja Blanca. Si bien las películas siguen la trama de la novela tradicional y temas cristianos, también se añadió la mitología griega y los cuentos de hadas británicos. Las dos primeras películas fueron dirigidas por Andrew Adamson, producidas por Mark Johnson, y distribuidas por Walt Disney Pictures. La tercera película es la primera de las crónicas que se estrenó en 3D digital. Fue dirigida por Michael Apted y distribuida por 20th Century Fox.
