- Der Sentul International Circuit ist eine Motorsport-Rennstrecke in (Jawa Barat) in Indonesien. Sie wird vorwiegend für Motorradrennen sowie die und den A1 Grand Prix genutzt. Die Strecke ist schnell und sehr breit, was viele unterschiedliche Fahrlinien erlaubt. Aufgrund der geografischen Lage in der Nähe des Äquators, herrschen sehr oft hohe Lufttemperaturen und -feuchtigkeiten, was das Rennfahren sehr anstrengend macht. Auf dem Areal befinden sich, neben dem Grand-Prix-Kurs, Strecken für Motocross-, Autocross- und Go-Kart-Rennen, außerdem ein Drei-Sterne-Hotel und ein Golfplatz. (de)

Mide 3.960 metros de longitud, e incluye también una pista de motocross y una de karting. Es el principal circuito de carreras de país y uno de los más usados en el sudeste asiático por categorías internacionales. Su construcción fue promovida por , hijo del entonces presidente del país, Suharto, con la intención convertir a Indonesia en el segundo país asiático en albergar un Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 luego de Japón. Sentul se inauguró en agosto de 1993 con una carrera de la categoría australiana de monoplazas . El Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes corrió allí entre 1994 y 1997, y el Campeonato Mundial de Motociclismo lo hizo en 1996 y 1997. Pero debido al pequeño tamaño del trazado y a la crisis financiera asiática de 1997, la Fórmula 1 jamás llegó a correr en el circuito. Sentul es sede habitual de los certámenes asiáticos de turismos, Fórmula Renault V6, Fórmula 3 y Fórmula BMW. La categoría de monoplazas A1 Grand Prix visitó la pista dos veces en 2006: en febrero como parte de la temporada 2005-2006, y en diciembre de 2006 como parte de la temporada 2006-2007. - Sentul International Circuit is a 50,000-capacity permanent motor racing circuit located at Sentul City, Babakan Madang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia, near the toll gate of Jakarta towards Bogor city and areas at the foot of Jonggol Mountains Its pit facilities have easy access to the Jagorawi Toll Road. The current circuit is a truncated version of the original design. Approximately 40% shorter than the original, the circuit runs clockwise and is predominantly used for motorcycle racing and the Asian F3 series. Sentul is a relatively simple, smooth, broad track with large runoff areas, enabling non-bumpy and smooth driving at racing speeds. Sentul has a 900-metre (3,000 ft) main straight that allows speeds of up to 300 kilometres per hour (190 mph) before slowing for the right-hand Turn 1. The only truly high-speed corner at Sentul is Turn 2. The fastest driver on four-wheel machines can do 220 kilometres per hour (140 mph), and the fastest rider can do 190 kilometres per hour (120 mph) on two-wheel machines. They can take Turn 2 as a complex "S" bend when they get out from the tighter Turn 1 at around 140 kilometres per hour (87 mph). The wide corners allow good passing with various racing lines. Located in Bogor Regency, Sentul is a hilly area at the foot of the Jonggol Mountains and a bit cooler than the tropical city of Jakarta. However, the track can still get extremely hot under direct sunlight. It is also humid and wet as well. Such characteristics cause distress to European tuners, riders and drivers who are accustomed to cooler climates. (en)
