- Nathalie Appéré (* 8. Juli 1975 in Ploemeur) ist eine französische Politikerin. Sie war von 2012 bis 2017 Abgeordnete der Nationalversammlung und ist seit 2014 Bürgermeisterin der Stadt Rennes. Appéré erwarb 1993 ihr Abitur und studierte danach Politikwissenschaften am Institut d’études politiques in Rennes. Während ihres Studiums trat Appéré, die sich als katholische Sozialistin bezeichnet, der Parti socialiste bei. 2001 gelang ihr der Einzug in den Stadtrat von Rennes, wo sie gleichzeitig zu einer Stellvertreterin des Bürgermeisters Edmond Hervé wurde. 2008 stieg sie zur ersten Stellvertreterin auf. Bei den Parlamentswahlen 2012 kandidierte sie erfolgreich im zweiten Wahlkreis des Départements Ille-et-Vilaine und zog in die Nationalversammlung ein. Für die Kommunalwahlen 2014 übernahm Appéré die Spitzenkandidatur für den PS, nachdem Amtsinhaber Daniel Delaveau nicht erneut kandidierte. Nachdem die Liste des PS im ersten Wahlgang 35,6 Prozent der Stimmen erreichte, setzte sich im zweiten Wahlgang die mit den Grünen und dem Front de Gauche fusionierte Liste der PS mit 55,8 Prozent durch. In seiner ersten Sitzung am 4. April 2014 wählte der neue Stadtrat Nathalie Appéré mit 45 von 61 Stimmen zur Bürgermeisterin Rennes. (de)
- Nathalie Appéré (born 8 July 1975) is a French politician who has served as the president of Rennes Métropole since 2020 and the mayor of Rennes since 2014. She is a member of the Socialist Party (PS). Appéré was born in Morbihan and moved to Rennes in 1993 to study at Sciences Po Rennes. She graduated three years later and entered the public service. In 1995, Appéré joined the Young Socialist Movement (MJS) in 1995 and then the Socialist Party. She was named by Edmond Hervé to his electoral list in the 2001 French municipal elections, after which she was appointed his deputy for community living. Appéré then managed Daniel Delaveau's successful mayoral campaign in 2008, with Delaveau subsequently appointing her deputy mayor, in charge of Solidarity, as well as vice-president of Rennes Métropole, in charge of Social Cohesion. Appéré was elected to the National Assembly in the 2012 French legislative elections, representing Ille-et-Vilaine's 2nd constituency. She then became the first female mayor of Rennes in 2014 and was re-elected in 2020, when she also won the presidency of Rennes Métropole. (en)

Elle en sort diplômée trois ans plus tard, puis rejoint ensuite la fonction publique territoriale. Elle adhère au Mouvement des Jeunes socialistes (MJS) en 1995 puis au Parti socialiste. En 2001, Edmond Hervé l'intègre sur sa liste de candidats aux élections municipales, puis lui confie le poste d'adjointe déléguée à la Vie associative. Elle dirige en 2008 la campagne victorieuse de Daniel Delaveau, qui la nomme première adjointe déléguée à la Solidarité et vice-présidente de Rennes Métropole déléguée à la Cohésion sociale. Elle est élue députée lors élections législatives de 2012 dans la 2e circonscription d'Ille-et-Vilaine, puis devient la première femme maire de Rennes en 2014. Reconduite après les élections municipales de 2020, elle prend la présidence de Rennes Métropole. (fr)
