- Henry Jenner, també conegut pel nom bàrdic Gwas Myghal , fou un poeta i activista de la llengua còrnica. El 1877, mentre treballava al Museu Britànic, trobà un text fragmentari de 41 línies en vers còrnic, escrites l'any 1400, al darrere d'una carta de drets de St. Stephen-in-Brannel, datada del 1340. La temàtica del text és el matrimoni, i es donen indicacions als núvis sobre com procedir. El 1873 compongué un article per a la publicació "Transactions of the Philological Society", on proposava ressuscitar el còrnic. El 1901 fundà la primera societat de la llengua còrnica, la (en català: Societat Celto-Còrnica) conjuntament amb el seu deixeble Robert Morton Nance. El 1903 esdevingué membre del Gorsedd bretó. El 1904 publicà l'obra Handbook of the Cornish Language, llibre clau del moviment de recuperació de la llengua còrnica, alhora que aconseguí que Cornualla fos reconeguda com a nació cèltica a l'Eisteddfod de Gal·les. El 1928 organitzà el Gorsedh Kernow, i en fou Gran Bard fins a la seva mort. La seva versió de còrnic reviscolat es basava en les formes del segle xviii. (ca)
- Henry Jenner FSA (8 August 1848 – 8 May 1934) was a British scholar of the Celtic languages, a Cornish cultural activist, and the chief originator of the Cornish language revival. Jenner was born at St Columb Major on 8 August 1848. He was the son of Henry Lascelles Jenner, who was one of two curates to the Rector of St. Columb Major, and later consecrated though not enthroned as the first Bishop of Dunedin and the grandson of Herbert Jenner-Fust. In 1869 Jenner became a clerk in the Probate Division of the High Court and two years later was nominated by the Primate at Canterbury for a post in the Department of Ancient Manuscripts in the British Museum, his father then being the Rector of Wingham, a small village near Canterbury. In 1904, he successfully campaigned for Cornwall to join the Celtic Congress. He jointly founded the Old Cornwall Society at St Ives in 1920 and in 1928 he was a joint founder of the Cornish Gorsedh. Na pomysł odbudowania wymarłego już wówczas języka kornijskiego wpadł w roku 1877, kiedy podczas pracy w British Museum znalazł na manuskrypcie zapis 41 linijek wiersza w języku kornijskim z roku 1340. W roku 1904 opublikował podręcznik gramatyki kornijskiej, który był próbą wprowadzenia współczesnej gramatyki w oparciu o język używany w czasach po rebelii modlitewników.
