- Českou šlechtou se rozumí feudální společenská vrstva, tj. nižší a vyšší (vysoká) šlechta na území Českého království respektive zemí Koruny české, zvláště v Čechách a na Moravě a v širším pojetí i ve Slezsku a Lužici. (cs)
- Czech nobility consists of the noble families from historical Czech lands, especially in their narrow sense, i.e. nobility of Bohemia proper, Moravia and Austrian Silesia – whether these families originated from those countries or moved into them through the centuries. These are connected with the history of Great Moravia, Duchy of Bohemia, later Kingdom of Bohemia, Margraviate of Moravia, the Duchies of Silesia and the Crown of Bohemia, the constitutional predecessor state of the modern-day Czech Republic. Noble titles were abolished by law (No. 61/1918 Sb. z. a n.) in December 1918, shortly after the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak Republic. During the period of Nazism and communism, representatives of Czech noble families were often persecuted. After the Velvet Revolution in 1989, the property confiscated by the communists was returned to the nobility. (en)
- Boheemse adel of Tsjechische adel refereert aan de adel in Tsjechië, die historisch is ontstaan in Bohemen, Moravië, Silezië en de Lausitz. Dit gebied is ook bekend als "de Landen van de Boheemse Kroon" of "de Landen van de kroon van de heilige Wenceslaus". Dit artikel beperkt zich tot de adel van Bohemen en Moravië. Die van Silezië heeft deels het Poolse koningschap als oorsprong, werd in de 13de eeuw deel van de adel van het Heilige Roomse Rijk (Duitse Rijk), in de 16de eeuw kwam ze onder het huis Habsburg, en in de 18de eeuw onder het Pruisische. Zie daarvoor de geschiedenis van en Opper-Silezië. - La nobiltà boema o nobiltà ceca comprende tutti gli individui e le famiglie riconosciute della Boemia, della Moravia, della Slesia (in particolare dell'alta Slesia) e della Lusazia (note complessivamente come "Corona Boema") come membri della classe aristocratica, ovvero godenti di privilegi ereditari. L'aristocrazia venne abolita dalla legge ceca (N. 61/1918 Sb. z. a n.) nel dicembre del 1918, poco dopo la formazione della Prima Repubblica cecoslovacca. (it)
