- Als Kadettenanstalt oder Kadettenschule werden weiterführende Schulen bis zum Abitur bezeichnet, die in der Regel der Vorbereitung auf eine militärische Karriere dienen oder für eine zukünftige militärische Karriere förderlich sind. Erste Kadettenschulen entstanden gegen Ende des 17.
