- L'Estació Central de Zuric (en alemany Zürich Hauptbahnhof o Zürich HB) és l'estació de ferrocarril més gran de Zuric i també de Suïssa. Zuric és un important nucli ferroviari, amb serveis a i des de tot Suïssa i els seus països veïns com Alemanya, Itàlia, Àustria i França. Inicialment va ser construïda com el final de la Spanisch Brötli Bahn, la primera línia de ferrocarril completament construïda de Suïssa, convertint-se en una de les estacions més velles del país. Està localitzada a Altstadt, un dels districtes de Zuric el qual correspon al centre històric de la ciutat, on es troben els rius Limmat i . El riu Sihl travessa l'estació a través d'un túnel que passa per sotes les vies del nivell superior i inferior. El complex de vies de l'estació s'estén uns quatre quilòmetres a l'oest. (ca)

Er ist ein bedeutender Eisenbahnknoten für Züge aus dem In- und Ausland. Mit durchschnittlich 461'000 Fahrgästen an Werktagen (Stand: 2019) und rund 3000 Zugfahrten pro Tag ist er der meistfrequentierte Bahnhof auf dem Schienennetz der Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen, ebenso gehört er zu den verkehrsreichsten Bahnhöfen Europas. Der Hauptbahnhof liegt nördlich der Altstadt. Er besitzt insgesamt 26 Gleise für den Personenverkehr in vier Teilbahnhöfen. Überwiegend dem Fernverkehr dient der oberirdische Kopfbahnhof. Die Tiefbahnhöfe Museumstrasse an der Nord- und Löwenstrasse an der Südseite sind als Durchgangsbahnhöfe konzipiert. Ersterer dient ausschliesslich Zügen der S-Bahn Zürich, letzterer auch dem Fernverkehr. Hinzu kommt unter dem südlich angrenzenden Bahnhofplatz der Kopfbahnhof der Sihltal-Zürich-Uetliberg-Bahn (SZU). Die Bahnhofteile sind durch die unterirdische Einkaufspassage Shopville miteinander verbunden. Westlich des Hauptbahnhofs erstrecken sich die Gleisanlagen rund vier Kilometer weit bis zum Bahnhof Altstetten. Im Jahr 1847 wurde der Hauptbahnhof als Endpunkt der ersten Bahnstrecke der Schweiz von Zürich nach Baden eröffnet und zählt somit zu den ältesten Bahnhöfen des Landes. An die Stelle der ersten Bauten trat die von Jakob Friedrich Wanner im Neorenaissance-Stil entworfene und 1871 fertiggestellte Bahnhofshalle. Diese dient heute nicht mehr ihrem ursprünglichen Zweck, nachdem 1930 der Bahnverkehr in die angrenzende Gleishalle verlegt wurde. Die oberirdischen Teile des Hauptbahnhofs stehen als Kulturgut von nationaler Bedeutung unter Denkmalschutz. Der Tiefbahnhof Museumstrasse ging 1989 in Betrieb.
