- Streathamský portrét je olejomalba na desce z 90. let 15. století, která je pravděpodobně pozdější kopií dřevořezu z roku 1580, na němž je vyobrazena anglická šlechtična lady Jana Greyová. Zobrazuje mladou ženu v šatech z tudorovského období ve tříčtvrteční výšce, která drží modlitební knížku, v levém horním rohu obrazu se nachází vybledlý nápis »Lady Jayne« nebo »Lady Iayne«. Dílo je v poměrně špatném stavu a jeví se tedy, jako by bylo cíleně poškozeno. Od ledna 2015 se portrét nachází v místnosti 3 Národní portrétní galerie v Londýně. Dílo bylo nejspíše dokončeno jako součást souboru obrazů protestantských mučedníků. Počátkem 20. století byl v držení sběratele z londýnského Streathamu. V prosinci 2005 portrét zkoumal obchodník s uměním Christopher Foley, který jej považoval sice za přesnou, i když nekvalitně provedenou reprodukci jiného soudobého obrazu lady Greyové. Tuto svou domněnku nechal odborně ověřit a na základě toho byl následně dojednán jeho prodej. Dílo pak získala Národní portrétní galerie v Londýně za údajných 100 000 britských liber. Historik David Starkey byl ovšem k prodeji velmi kritický a Foleyho identifikaci díla zpochybnil. (cs)
- Le portrait « de Streatham » (en anglais : « Streatham » portrait) est une peinture à l'huile sur panneau datant des années 1590. Il s'agirait d'une copie d'un portrait de la noble Jeanne Grey. Montrant une représentation de trois-quarts d'une jeune femme en costume d'époque Tudor tenant un livre de prières, avec l'inscription peu abîmée « Lady Jayne » ou « Lady Iayne » dans le coin supérieur gauche, il s'agirait du premier portrait posthume connu de Jeanne Grey. Le portrait est exposé, depuis janvier 2015, dans la salle no 3 de la National Portrait Gallery de Londres. Il porte ce nom en référence à son lieu de découverte dans les années 2000, chez un collectionneur de Streatham. (fr)
- The "Streatham" portrait is an oil painting on panel from the 1590s believed to be a later copy of a woodcut of the English noblewoman Lady Jane Grey from 1580. It shows a three-quarter-length depiction of a young woman in Tudor-period dress holding a prayer book, with the faded inscription "Lady Jayne" or "Lady Iayne" in the upper-left corner. It is in poor condition and damaged, as if it has been attacked. As of January 2015 the portrait is in Room 3 of the National Portrait Gallery in London. The work is thought to have been completed as part of a set of paintings of Protestant martyrs. It was in the possession of a collector in Streatham, London, by the early 20th century. In December 2005 the portrait was examined by the art dealer Christopher Foley. He saw it as an accurate, though poorly executed, reproduction of a contemporary painting of Jane, had it verified and on that basis negotiated its sale. The work was acquired by the National Portrait Gallery in London for a rumoured £100,000. The historian David Starkey was highly critical of the sale and challenged Foley's identifications. (en)
