- Scarface: The World Is Yours ist ein Computerspiel des kanadischen Entwicklerstudios Radical Entertainment und erschien im Oktober 2006. Das Actionspiel orientiert sich an Spielen wie Der Pate oder Grand Theft Auto. Der Spieler übernimmt die Rolle des Protagonisten Tony Montana und führt die Handlung des populären Gangsterepos Scarface (1983) fort. Hierzu wurde das Ende der Filmhandlung verändert: Tony Montana überlebt zunächst den Angriff auf seine Villa und beginnt von Neuem sein Imperium aufzubauen. Am Spielende rächt sich Tony am Drahtzieher des Angriffs, Alejandro Sosa, indem er sich zu seiner Villa begibt und ihn dort, nach heftigem Widerstand durch Sosas Wachleute, umbringt. Die Entwickler haben das Aussehen des Hauptdarstellers Al Pacino in das Spiel übernommen, jedoch wird die Spielfigur nicht von Al Pacino selbst gesprochen, sondern von André Sogliuzzo. Der Soundtrack des Spiels enthält nicht nur die Musik des Films, sondern weitere Songs aus den 80ern. Das Spiel ist in mehreren Ländern und Sprachen erschienen. Die deutsche Version ist, obwohl sie keine Jugendfreigabe hat (USK ab 18), stark entschärft. Die ungekürzte EU-Version wurde indiziert und beschlagnahmt. Neben diesem Spiel orientiert sich auch das Computerspiel Grand Theft Auto: Vice City an dem Film. Daher haben beide Spiele ähnliche Spielorte (zum Beispiel die Villa von Tony Montana) und Verweise auf den Film. Das Fahndungssystem von Scarface: The World Is Yours wird in abgewandelter Form auch in Grand Theft Auto IV verwendet. Der Multiplattformtitel hat sich weltweit mehr als 2 Millionen Mal verkauft. In 2007, a version with enhanced graphics was released for the Wii. A port for the Xbox 360 was also being developed, but never released. The game is not a direct adaptation of the 1983 film directed by Brian De Palma, but is instead a broad strokes sequel which changes the ending of the film so that Tony Montana (originally played by Al Pacino) survives, and sets about exacting revenge on those who ousted him from power by re-establishing his drug empire in Miami. The game features Al Pacino's likeness in the character of Montana, but Pacino does not voice the character, as he and the game's producers felt his voice had changed too much since the film was released in 1983. Instead, Montana is voiced by André Sogliuzzo, who was personally selected by Pacino himself. Actors from the original film who did voice work for the game include Steven Bauer, Robert Loggia, and Al Israel. The game received moderately positive reviews, with many critics comparing it favorably to both 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (which itself was partially influenced by the Scarface film) and 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
