- Masters of Rock je největší mezinárodní rockový open-air festival v ČR, pořádaný a pravidelně se rozrůstající ve Vizovicích u Zlína. Na festivalu vystupují především zahraniční rockové a metalové kapely. V roce 2005 se stal nejúspěšnějším festivalem v Česku. V roce 2007 navštívilo festival přes 30 000 návštěvníků. V roce 2016 byl festival vyprodán. V roce 2017 dostal festival novou webovou prezentaci a byl taktéž vyprodán... dokonce měsíc před samotným zahájením. V roce 2022 se festival po dvou odkladech taktéž vyprodal. (cs)
- Masters of Rock ist ein tschechisches Metal-Festival. Es findet jährlich Mitte Juli in Vizovice auf dem Areal der Destillerie Rudolf Jelinek, etwa 100 km östlich von Brünn nahe der slowakischen Grenze, statt. Vizovice liegt in einem Tal in der Mährischen Walachei. Das erste Masters of Rock fand mit rund 15.000 Besuchern im Jahr 2003 statt. Bis 2007 wuchs das Festival auf eine Größe von 30.000 Besuchern. Auf dem Masters of Rock spielen jedes Jahr rund 40 Bands. Das Festivalgelände umfasst u. a. eine Hauptbühne (seit 2010 Ronnie James Dio Stage) mit einer betonierten Zuschauerfläche, Nebenbühne für Nachwuchsbands und großem Bierzelt. Auf dem gut befestigten Gelände befinden sich weiterhin zahllose Imbiss- und Merchandising-Stände.Ein großer kostenloser Zeltplatz wird vor dem Festivalgelände vom Veranstalter angeboten, gegen eine geringe Gebühr kann aber auch auf privatem Grund im gesamten Ort gecampt werden. Seit 2010 hat das Festival eine eigene Hymne – den Song "Masters of Rock" – gespielt von der mährischen Power-Metal-Band Salamandra (mitproduziert von Sabaton). Seit 2005 gibt es jeweils im Dezember noch einen zusätzlichen Tag, das sogenannte Winter-Masters of Rock im nahegelegenen Zlin (ehemals Gottwaldov), an dem weitere Bands auftreten. (de)
- Masters of Rock is a large heavy metal music festival in the Czech Republic. The main styles represented on this festival are power, speed and heavy metal, though the production tries to make the fest more open for other rock and metal styles, such as progressive rock/metal, hardcore, death metal or even ska. It takes place in Vizovice, Czech Republic and in the past has featured bands such as Tarja Turunen, Manowar, Sweet, Twisted Sister, HammerFall, Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Kreator, Edguy, Rage, Apocalyptica, Within Temptation, Children of Bodom, Avantasia, Accept, Dream Theater, Sebastian Bach, Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Sabaton and many more. The 2005 attendance was over 20,000, the 2006 one over 25,000 and finally the 2007 was over 30,000. The festival is held every summer and the Winter morphosis takes place in November in the town of Zlín. Since 2010 the main stage of summer festival is named after Ronnie James Dio, who died earlier that year. (en)
