- ماري صوفيا آلن (حاصلة على رتبة الإمبراطورية البريطانية؛ 12 مارس 1878 – 16 ديسمبر 1964) ناشطة سياسية بريطانية عُرفت بدفاعها عن حقوق المرأة خلال العقدين الأول والثاني من القرن العشرين، وانخرطت لاحقًا بالفاشية البريطانية. يُشار إليها كواحدة من أوائل قياديي متطوعي الشرطة النسائية. سعت آلن مرارًا وتكرارًا إلى تحديث الأنظمة القائمة في ذلك الوقت أو الطعن فيها، وضمان إمكانية تحول جهاز الشرطة النسائية إلى قوة مساعدة بعد قبول النساء في بعض قوات الشرطة البريطانية. رشحت نفسها ذات مرة لمجلس العموم بوصفها ليبرالية مستقلة، واستعانت بالقوة المساعدة النسائية في اعتراض الإضراب العام سنة 1926. التقت بعد ذلك وتحدثت مع الفاشيين الأوروبيين والألوية المناهضة للشيوعية، الأمر الذي استدعاها للقيام برحلات متكررة خارج البلاد والانضمام علنًا إلى اتحاد الفاشيين البريطاني في عام 1939. بعد تقاعدها، نشطت آلن في مجال حقوق الحيوان. - Mary Sophia Allen, née le 12 mars 1878 à Cardiff (Royaume-Uni) et morte le 16 décembre 1964 à Croydon (Royaume-Uni), est une militante féministe puis fasciste britannique. Après avoir été suffragette, elle devient l'une des dirigeantes de l'association de volontaires féminines (en) (WPS), souhaitant en vain en faire une force auxiliaire de la police britannique. En 1922, elle se présente aux élections pour la Chambre des communes mais n'est pas élue. Avec le WPS, devenu le Women's Auxiliary Service (WAS), elle s'investit pour mettre fin à la grève générale de 1926. Évoluant ensuite vers le fascisme, elle rencontre de nombreux leaders d'extrême droite et anti-communistes à travers l'Europe, avant de rejoindre publiquement la British Union of Fascists en 1939. Durant sa retraite, elle se tourne vers la lutte pour les droits des animaux. (fr)

She is chiefly noted as one of the early leaders of the Women's Police Volunteers. Allen repeatedly sought to challenge or modernise the existing systems of the time, ensuring the Women's Police Service could become an auxiliary force after women were admitted into certain British police forces. She stood once for the House of Commons as an Independent Liberal, turning over her Women's Auxiliary Service to breaking the General Strike of 1926. Thereafter she met and talked with European fascists and anti-communist brigades, entailing frequent trips abroad and publicly joining the British Union of Fascists in 1939. In retirement Allen was an activist for animal rights. (en)
