- Jean Ragnotti (29 d'agost de 1945, Carpentras, França), apodat Jeannot, és un pilot de ral·lis francès retirat. Durant la seva llarga carrera com a pilot al Campionat Mundial de Ral·lis es va convertir en una figura de culte per la marca Renault i el seu estil de conducció. Guanyà el Campionat de França de Ral·lis els anys 1980 i 1984. Entre les seves fites cal destacar la conquesta, copilotat pel seu compatriota , del Ral·li Monte-Carlo de 1981, imposant-se als , amb la seva innovadora tracció total, molt superiors tècnicament. Amb la versió Maxi del Renault 5 Turbo va tornar a regnar sobre l'asfalt, guanyant el 1985 el Tour de Còrsega. Els anys noranta va seguir pilotant per Renault, aquest cop amb un Renault Clio Maxi. Durante su larga carrera como piloto en el Campeonato Mundial de Rally se convirtió en una figura de culto para la marca Renault y uno de los pilotos más famosos y carismáticos por su conducción espectacular. Entre sus logros están la conquista, copilotado por su compatriota del Rally de Monte Carlo en 1981, imponiéndose ante el poderío del Audi quattro y su innovadora tracción total. Al año siguiente logró la victoria en el Rally de Córcega también con un Renault 5 Turbo. Con la versión Maxi del Renault 5 Turbo volvió a reinar en el asfalto de las etapas de rally en Europa, adjudicándose en 1985 el Rally de Córcega, su última victoria en el mundial de Rallys. En los años noventa siguió pilotando para Renault, esta vez con un Renault Clio Maxi. - Jean "Jeannot" Ragnotti (born 29 August 1945 in Pernes-les-Fontaines, Vaucluse), is a French former rally driver for Renault in the World Rally Championship. Ranking among his achievements are his conquering of the Monte Carlo Rally in 1981, what was the first turbo victory in the history of the WRC, alongside compatriot against the might of the ultimate four-wheel-drive upstart, the Audi Quattro. In the following season, he took his Renault 5 Turbo to victory at the Tour de Corse. Jean Marc Andrie later committed suicide in 1999. The Maxi version of the same Renault 5 was to reign again on the asphalt stages of European rallying, when in 1985, Ragnotti claimed the Tour de Corse again with Group B rallying at its zenith; a win that came on debut of Renault 5 Maxi Turbo. His co-driver by that time was Pierre Thimonier (whose son Gilles would also be a co-driver for Jean Ragnotti). Pierre Thimonier died of cancer in 2008. The 1985 Rothmans Tour de Corse would also prove to be a tragic affair after the fatal crash of Attilio Bettega on SS4 (Zerubia) of the event. - Jean Ragnotti (Pernes-les-Fontaines, 29 augustus 1945) is een Frans voormalig rallyrijder. Hij was vanaf de jaren zeventig tot aan de midden jaren negentig een van de voornaamste rijders in het Frans rallykampioenschap, maar was in deze periode ook met regelmaat actief in het Wereldkampioenschap rally. Als boegbeeld van Renault stond hij voornamelijk bekend als een specialist op het asfalt. Ragnotti, ook wel bekend onder zijn bijnaam "Jeannot", vergaarde een groot deel van zijn populariteit achter het stuur van de Renault 5 Turbo tussen 1980 en 1985, waar zijn snelheid op asfalt en zijn spectaculaire rijstijl hierin uitsprongen. Participando dos treinos para o GP de Mônaco de 1995, se envolveu num acidente com o japonês Taki Inoue, que pilotava um Footwork, quando não viu o carro deste sendo rebocado para os boxes, e o acertou.
