- Heuvelse kerk nebo kostel sv. Josefa je novogotický římskokatolický kostel v nizozemském městě Tilburg. Byl postaven mezi lety 1872–1889. Architektem kostela byl . Kostel se nachází na ulici 122 Heuvelring, v těsné blízkosti náměstí . Farnost v centru města byla oddělena od farnosti svatého Dionysia van 't Heike, kvůli počtu farníků. Kostel byl postaven ve dvou fázích. První se uskutečnila od 1872 do roku 1873, kdy byl slavnostně otevřen. Avšak budovatel stavby neměl dostatek peněz na dokončení celého kostela, a proto byl dokončen až v roce 1889, včetně dvou 72 metrů vysokých osmibokých kostelních věží. Kostel je považován za jedno z nejvýznamnějších děl architekta van Tuldera a je jedním z největších novogotických církevních staveb v Nizozemsku. Budova má monumentální vchod, který zahrnuje okenní růžici a sochu sv. Josefa. Interiér obsahuje okna z barevného skla. Hlavní oltář byl navržen . - The Heuvelse kerk (Heuvel church; also Sint-Jozefkerk) is a neo-Gothic Catholic church in the center of the Dutch city Tilburg. Dedicated to Saint Joseph, it is one of two major Catholic churches in the city center together with the . It is located along the square Heuvel, after which it is named. A 1921 statue of the Sacred Heart is located in front of the building. Construction of the church was divided into two phases due to financial constraints. The first part of the Heuvelse kerk was built in the period 1871–73, while the second phase took place between 1887 and 1889 and included the current front facade with its two towers. The church was consecrated in 1889 by the bishop of the Diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch. It was built in the garden of a barracks and was meant to accommodate Tilburg's increasing population. The barracks were renovated simultaneously to become a clergy house. The only major adjustment to the original building, designed by , was an extension of both transepts in the 1950s. The Heuvelse kerk has the floor plan of a cruciform basilica. Its most prominent exterior feature are the two towers with their height of 72 metres (236 ft). Three portals in the front facade contain entrances, the central one being decorated with a relief showing the flight into Egypt. A copper-gilded statue of Saint Joseph sits on top of a gable between the towers. The interior is covered by a four-part rib vault and includes two organs and a winged altarpiece by Hendrik van der Geld, created between 1878 and 1881. Frescos of the Stations of the Cross were painted two decades after the church's inauguration by Georges de Geetere. In 2019, the parish announced plans to sell the Heuvelse kerk, but the bishop has postponed those plans. (en)
- De Heuvelse kerk (ook Sint-Jozefkerk) is een neogotisch katholiek kerkgebouw in de Noord-Brabantse stad Tilburg. Het is samen met de Heikese kerk het belangrijkste kerkgebouw van het centrum en geldt als beeldbepalend voor Tilburg. Het staat bij de Heuvel, een centraal plein naar welke de aan Jozef van Nazareth gewijde kerk is vernoemd. Voor het gebouw staat het uit 1921 stammende Heilig Hartbeeld. De kerk maakt onderdeel uit van Parochie De Goede Herder. Vanwege financiële redenen is het gebouw in twee fasen gebouwd. Het eerste deel kwam tot stand in de jaren 1871–73 en het tweede deel, dat de voorgevel met de twee torens omvatte, werd gebouwd tussen 1887 en 1889. De wijding vond plaats in dat laatste jaar door de bisschop van het bisdom 's-Hertogenbosch. Een nieuwe kerk was nodig om plaats te bieden aan de groeiende Tilburgse bevolking en deze werd gebouwd in de tuin van een kazerne. Het kazerne zelf werd omgebouwd tot de pastorie. De enige grote aanpassing aan het door Hendrik Jacobus van Tulder ontworpen gebouw was de uitbreiding van het transept in de jaren 50. De kruisbasiliek heeft aan de voorzijde twee torens met een hoogte van 72 meter. De ingangen bevinden zich in de drie portalen in de voorgevel. In het middelste portaal is een reliëf van de vlucht naar Egypte. Ook staat op het topje van de puntgevel tussen de torens een in koper verguld beeld van Sint-Jozef. Het interieur van de Heuvelse kerk wordt overdekt door een kruisribgewelf en bevat twee orgels en een gevleugeld altaarstuk, dat door Hendrik van der Geld is vervaardigd tussen 1878 en 1881. Ook bevinden zich er fresco's van de kruisweg, die de Belg Georges de Geetere twee decennia na de opening heeft geschilderd. In 2019 kondigde de parochie plannen aan om de Heuvelse kerk te verkopen, maar de bisschop heeft die plannen uitgesteld. (nl)
