- David Arthur Eppstein (born 1963) is an American computer scientist and mathematician. He is a Distinguished Professor of computer science at the University of California, Irvine. He is known for his work in computational geometry, graph algorithms, and recreational mathematics. In 2011, he was named an ACM Fellow. (en)

Als Post-Doktorand war er am Xerox PARC Forschungszentrum und ab 1990 Assistant Professor und 1998 Professor an der University of California, Irvine in der Fakultät für Informatik. 2017 wurde er zum Fellow der American Association for the Advancement of Science gewählt. Er befasst sich mit Geometrie (Computational Geometry, unter anderem Meshing), Graphen-Algorithmen, Computergraphik, Geographischen Informationssystemen und rechnergestützter Statistik.
