- John Baine (born 21 October 1957), better known by his stage name Attila the Stockbroker, is an English punk poet, multi instrumentalist musician and songwriter. He performs solo and as the leader of the band Barnstormer 1649, who combine early music and punk. He has performed over 3,800 concerts, published eight books of poems, an autobiography (which itself has 38 poems in it) and in 2021 his Collected Works spanning 40 years. He has released over forty recordings (albums and singles). (en)

- Attila the Stockbroker ("Attila, l'agent de change", pseudonyme de John Baine, né le 21 octobre 1957 à Southwick, West Sussex, Angleterre) est un artiste britannique, à la fois poète punk, musicien de folk-punk, compositeur de chansons et chanteur. Inlassable militant anticapitaliste et antiraciste, il s'est notamment fait connaître par ses morceaux d'inspiration marxiste-léniniste (Ballade à Enver Hoxha) et ses hymnes antifascistes (This Is Free Europe). Il joue de la mandoline et joue en solo ou avec le groupe Barnstormer. Il s'est produit dans plus de 2500 concerts, a publié six livres de poésie et enregistré 29 disques. Il s'est fait connaître avec ses productions sur le label Cherry Red au début des années 80.
