- Die Rugby Europe International Championships 2018/19 waren ein Rugby-Union-Wettbewerb für europäische Nationalmannschaften der zweiten und dritten Stärkeklasse, unterhalb der Six Nations. Es handelte sich um die 44. Ausgabe der Rugby-Union-Europameisterschaft Beteiligt waren 35 Mannschaften, die in vier Divisionen eingeteilt waren. Sie spielten über ein Jahr einmal gegen jeden Gegner ihrer Gruppe. Die Rugby Europe Championship und Rugby Europe Trophy umfassten je sechs Mannschaften, die Rugby Europe Conference 1 und 2 waren zusätzlich in eine Nord- und Südstaffel mit je fünf Mannschaften aufgeteilt. In der Rugby Europe Development genannten Division spielten drei Mannschaften. Den Europameistertitel gewann zum elften Mal Georgien. (de)
- The 2018–19 Rugby Europe Trophy is the second-level rugby union competition below the premier Championship. It is the third Trophy competition under its new format, that will see Czech Republic, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland compete for the title, and a place in the Championship-Trophy Promotion play-off. This year's competition sees Lithuania joining the Trophy after winning the Trophy-Conference 1 Promotion play-off against Malta. After the Championship-Trophy Promotion play-off of the 2017-18 season, which was played on 3 November 2018 between Portugal and Romania after the eligibility case of the 2018 Rugby Europe Championship, Portugal remained on the Trophy level and lost the relegation play-off for the second year in a row. Esta temporada es la tercera de su nuevo formato y estructura, donde todos los niveles juegan en ciclos de un año, sustituyendo el antiguo formato de ciclo de dos años.Después de la polémica del Rugby Europe International Championships 2018, y la deducción de puntos correspondiente, Rumanía se tendrá que enfrentar a Portugal en el playoff de descenso para determinar el último contendiente del campeonato de 2019. - Rugby Europe Trophy – drugi poziom rozgrywek w ramach trzeciego w historii sezonu Rugby Europe International Championships. W porównaniu z poprzednią edycją zdegradowaną Mołdawię zastąpiła reprezentacja Litwy. W maju 2018 roku komisja World Rugby wydała rozstrzygnięcie, zgodnie z którym części reprezentacji w 2018 roku biorących udział w Championship naliczono punkty ujemne. Z tego powodu opóźniono spotkanie rozstrzygające kwestię ewentualnego awansu i spadku bądź utrzymania pomiędzy rozgrywkami Championship i Trophy. Przewidziano, że mecz zwycięzcy poprzedniej edycji Trophy – Portugalii – z Rumunią, która w końcowym rozrachunku zajęła ostatnie miejsce w Championship, rozegrany zostanie w listopadzie (to jest już po rozpoczęciu rozgrywek Trophy zainicjowanych we wrześniu 2018 r.).
