- زوجي بلا ربان هو قارب تجديف يستخدم في رياضة التجديف التنافسي. وهو مصمم لاثنين من المجدفين الذين يدفعان القارب بمجاديف متبادلة غير متماثلة. يتكون الطاقم من زوج من المجدفين، لكل منهما مجداف واحد، واحد من المجاديف على الجانب الأيمن والآخر الجانب الأيسر. كما يوحي الاسم لا يوجد ربان على مثل هذا القارب، ويجب على المجدفين تنسيق التوجيه والتوقيت المناسب لضربات المجذاف فيما بينهم أو عن طريق تثبيت توجيه من أحد المجدفين من خلال مقود يسير بالأقدام. يشار إلى القارب المكافئ عندما يتم توجيهه بواسطة ربان باسم «زوجي مع ربان». قوارب السباق (تسمى غالبًا بالإنجليزية "shells" بمعنى أصداف) طويلة وضيقة وبشكل عام شبه دائرية في المقطع العرضي لتقليل الاحتكاك. أساسا كانت القوارب تصنع من الخشب، إلى انه حديثا غالبا ما تصنع من مادة مركبة (عادةً من البلاستيك المقوى بألياف الكربون) لمزايا القوة والوزن. هذه الفئة من القوارب لها زعنفة باتجاه الخلف، للمساعدة في منع التدحرج والانعراج. يتم توزيع مثبتتات المجاديف بالتناوب على طول القارب بحيث تنطبق القوى بشكل غير متماثل على كل جانب من جوانب القارب. غالبًا ما يُعتبر زوجي بلا ربان أكثر القوارب صعوبة في التجديف، حيث يجب على كل مجدف موازنة جانبه / جانبها بالتعاون مع الآخر، وتطبيق قوة متساوية، والدفع واستخراج المجداف من الماء في وقت واحد من أجل تحريك القارب بكفاءة. فئة تتطلب تقنية وتواصل وخبرة ممتازة. «زوجي بلا ربان» هو أحد الفئات المعترف بها من قبل الاتحاد الدولي للتجديف ويتم التنافس عليه في الألعاب الأولمبية. - Der Zweier ohne Steuermann bzw. Zweier ohne Steuerfrau (Abkürzung 2-) ist eine Bootsklasse im Rudersport. Im Boot sitzen zwei Ruderer, die mit jeweils einem Riemen das Boot antreiben. Die Bootsklasse wird auch alternativ als Riemen-Zweier oder verkürzt als Zweier-ohne bezeichnet und ist seit langem eine Olympische Bootsklasse bei Männern und Frauen. Der Zweier-ohne ist die rudertechnisch anspruchsvollste Bootsklasse im Rudersport. Das liegt vor allem an der Schwierigkeit, das Gleichgewicht zu halten: Ruderboote werden durch die Ruder im Gleichgewicht gehalten. Im Riemen-Zweier ist jeder Ruderer allein für eine Seite verantwortlich und muss daher gut mit seinem Partner harmonieren. (de)
- A coxless pair is a rowing boat used in the sport of competitive rowing. It is designed for two rowers, who propel the boat with sweep oars. The crew consists of a pair of rowers, each having one oar, one on the stroke side (rower's right hand side) and one on the bow side (rower's lefthand side). As the name suggests, there is no coxswain on such a boat, and the two rowers must co-ordinate steering and the proper timing of oar strokes between themselves or by means of a steering installation which is operated by foot from one of the rowers. The equivalent boat when it is steered by a cox is referred to as a "coxed pair". Racing boats (often called "shells") are long, narrow, and broadly semi-circular in cross-section in order to reduce drag to a minimum. Originally made from wood, shells are now almost always made from a composite material (usually carbon-fibre reinforced plastic) for strength and weight advantages. Pairs have a fin towards the rear, to help prevent roll and yaw. The riggers are staggered alternately along the boat so that the forces apply asymmetrically to each side of the boat. A coxless pair is often considered the most difficult boat to row, as each rower must balance their side in cooperation with the other, apply equal power, place their catch and extract the blade simultaneously in order to move the boat efficiently. "Coxless pair" is one of the classes recognized by the International Rowing Federation and is competed in the Olympic Games. (en)
