- قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 919، المتخذ بالإجماع في 25 أيار / مايو 1994، بعد الإشارة إلى جميع القرارات المتعلقة بجنوب أفريقيا، ولا سيما القرارات 282 (1970)، 418 (1977)، 421 (1977)، 558 (1984) و591 (1986)، رحب المجلس بالانتخابات العامة الأخيرة والحكومة الجديدة وقرر، بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، إنهاء حظر الأسلحة وجميع القيود الأخرى المفروضة على جنوب أفريقيا. كما سيتم إنهاء الإجراءات المفروضة في قرارات أخرى. كما تم حل لجنة مجلس الأمن المنشأة بموجب القرار 421. رحب ثابو مبيكي، نائب رئيس جنوب إفريقيا، برفع القيود، مشيرًا إلى «قبول الهيئة الدولية بأننا (جنوب إفريقيا) أصبحنا دولة ديمقراطية». - La Resolució 919 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides fou adoptada per unanimitat el 25 de maig de 1994. Després de recordar totes les resolucions del Consell de Seguretat sobre Sud-àfrica, en particular les resolucions 282 (1970), 418 1977), 421 (1977), 558 (1984) i 591 (1986) , el Consell va donar la benvinguda a les i al nou Govern del Sud d'Àfrica i va decidir, de conformitat amb el Capítol VII de la Carta de les Nacions Unides, rescindir l'embargament d'armes i totes les altres restriccions contra Sud-àfrica. Es van acabar també les mesures imposades en altres resolucions. També es va dissoldre el Comitè del Consell de Seguretat establert en la Resolució 421. Thabo Mbeki, , va acollir amb satisfacció l'aixecament de les restriccions, afirmant que eren "l'acceptació del cos mundial que nosaltres (Sud-àfrica) ens hem convertit en un país democràtic". (ca)

Usai mengulang seluruh resolusi perihal Afrika Selatan, terutama resolusi-resolusi 418 (1977), 421 (1977), 473 (1980), 558 (1984), dan 591 (1986), DKPBB menyambut pemilu terkini dan baru dan memutuskan untuk mengakhiri seluruh dan seluruh pembatasan lain terhadap Afrika Selatan. - United Nations Security Council resolution 919, adopted unanimously on 25 May 1994, after recalling all resolutions on South Africa, in particular resolutions 282 (1970), 418 (1977), 421 (1977), 558 (1984) and 591 (1986), the Council welcomed the recent general elections and new government and decided, under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, to terminate the arms embargo and all other restrictions against South Africa. Measures imposed in other resolutions would also be ended. The Committee of the Security Council established in Resolution 421 was also dissolved. Thabo Mbeki, Deputy President of South Africa, welcomed the lifting of restrictions, stating that they were "acceptance by the world body that we (South Africa) have become a democratic country".
