- المفصل القصي الترقوي (بالإنجليزية: sternoclavicular articulation) مفصل ثنائي له قسمان يفصل بينهما قرص مفصلي. يدخل في تكوين المفصل القصي الترقوي من مساحات العظام التالية:
* النهاية القصية من عظم الترقوة.
* والجزء العلوي وكذلك الجانبي من مقبض القص، (الثلمة الترقوية لمقبض القص) (clavicular notch).
* وغضروف الضلع الأول. ويرى تكوين المفصل من الخارج من خلال الثلمة فوق القصية (Suprasternal notch) أو الثلمة الوداجية (jugular notch). (ar)
- Das Sternoklavikulargelenk (von anatomisch (lat.) Articulatio sternoclavicularis, Brustbein-Schlüsselbein-Gelenk, auch mediales Schlüsselbeingelenk) ist die gelenkige Verbindung zwischen dem Brustbein (Sternum) und dem Schlüsselbein (Clavicula). Es liegt am halsseitigen Ende des Brustbeins und überragt dessen oberen Rand, weshalb es durch die Haut sicht- und tastbar ist. Es ist die einzige knöcherne Verbindung der oberen Extremität mit dem Rumpf. Die Gelenkpfanne wird durch ein seichtes Grübchen im „Handgriff“ des Brustbeins (Manubrium sterni) gebildet. Die Gelenkflächen des Sternoklavikulargelenks sind unregelmäßig, zwischen ihnen liegt in der Regel eine vollständige Knorpelscheibe (Discus articularis), sodass das Gelenk funktionell ein Kugelgelenk ist. Das Schlüsselbein kann sich in der Frontalebene und in der Transversalebene bewegen und sich um die eigene Achse rotieren. Die Stabilität des Gelenks stellen mehrere Bänder (Ligamentum sternoclaviculare anterius, Ligamentum sternoclaviculare posterius, Ligamentum interclaviculare und Ligamentum costoclaviculare) her. Unter dem Sternoklavikulargelenk liegt die knorplige Verbindung des Brustbeins mit der ersten Rippe. Hinter dem Sternoklavikulargelenk liegt die vordere Grenze des Brustfells und der Venenwinkel (Zusammenfluss der Vena jugularis interna mit der Vena subclavia), in den links der Ductus thoracicus, rechts der Ductus lymphaticus dexter münden. Unmittelbar hinter dem rechten Sternoklavikulargelenk liegt die Aufzweigung des Truncus brachiocephalicus in die Arteria subclavia und die Arteria carotis communis. (de)

- The sternoclavicular joint or sternoclavicular articulation is the joint between the manubrium of the sternum and the clavicle bone. It is structurally classed as a synovial plane joint and functionally classed as a diarthrosis and multiaxial joint. It is composed of two portions separated by an articular disc of fibrocartilage. The bone areas entering into its formation are the sternal end of the clavicle, the upper and lateral part of the sternum, (the clavicular notch), and the cartilage of the first rib, visible from the outside as the suprasternal notch. The articular surface of the clavicle is much larger than that of the sternum, and is invested with a layer of cartilage, which is considerably thicker than that on the sternum. The costoclavicular ligament is the main limitation to movement, and therefore the main stabilizer of the joint. A fibrocartilaginous disc present at the joint increases the range of movement. Sternoclavicular dislocation is rare, but may result from direct trauma to the clavicle or indirect forces applied to the shoulder. Posterior dislocations deserve special attention, as they have the potential to be life-threatening because of the risk of damage to vital structures in the mediastinum. (en)

La cavità articolare presente tra la clavicola e il manubrio dello sterno è rivestita da una capsula fibrosa ed è divisa in due dalla presenza di un disco articolare di forma circolare. Esso si attacca, in alto, al margine supero-posteriore della superficie articolare della clavicola e, in basso, sulla prima cartilagine costale in prossimità della sua giunzione con lo sterno. Ze względu na zakres wykonywanych ruchów można go zaliczyć do stawów wieloosiowych. Staw ten tworzony jest przez powierzchnię stawową końca mostkowego obojczyka oraz powierzchnię stawową wcięcia obojczykowego mostka. Pomiędzy tymi strukturami znajduje się krążek stawowy, który niweluje niepełne dopasowanie ich do siebie i zmniejsza bezpośredni nacisk obojczyka na mostek. Do stawu mostkowo-obojczykowego należą więzadła:
* mostkowo–obojczykowe przednie (ligamentum sternoclaviculare anterius),
* mostkowo-obojczykowe tylne (ligamentum sternoclaviculare posterius),
* żebrowo–obojczykowe (ligamentum costoclaviculare), łączące ze sobą obojczyk i I żebro,
