- Sonic the Comic est un magazine britannique centré sur un comics de Sonic publié par Fleetway et partiellement traduit en France dans le Sonic Mag. 223 exemplaires furent publiés de 1993 à 2002. En plus du comic en lui-même, le magazine contenait des sections destinées aux fans (courrier, aide, fanarts) et aux jeux Sonic (previews et tests). D'autres jeux Sega ont eu un comic dans le magazine : Golden Axe, Streets of Rage 2, Shinobi, Kid Chameleon, Eternal Champions, , Marko's Magic Football, Ecco the Dolphin, Wonder Boy, Sparkster, Mutant League Football, Shining Force et Decap Attack. Contrairement à Sonic the Hedgehog d'Archie Comics, l'histoire suit la trame des jeux vidéo : Sonic délivre ses amis enfermés dans des robots et combat Robotnik. (fr)

- Sonic the Comic, noto tra i suoi lettori anche come STC, è un periodico di fumetti per bambini britannico pubblicato quindicinalmente tra il 1993 e il 2002 da Fleetway Editions (le società fuse Fleetway e London Editions, che progressivamente sono state integrate con la sua casa madre Egmont fino a diventare nota come Egmont Magazines). È stato il fumetto ufficiale SEGA del Regno Unito, con storie sulla sua mascotte Sonic the Hedgehog e personaggi correlati, oltre a fumetti basati su altri videogiochi SEGA. Dopo la fine della sua pubblicazione, i fan hanno creato una versione Web non ufficiale, chiamata Sonic the Comic - Online!, a partire da maggio 2003. In Italia Sonic the Comic è inedito, ma alcune storie vennero pubblicate in italiano sulla rivista Sonic Videogame & Fumetti edita da Rizzoli Egmont Publishing tra il 1993 e il 1994. (it)
