- Le système de ligues de football en Écosse (Scottish football league system en anglais) désigne le système de classement officiel des ligues et divisions du football écossais. - The Scottish football league system is a series of generally connected leagues for Scottish football clubs. The Scottish system is more complicated than many other national league systems, consisting of several completely separate systems or 'grades' of leagues and clubs. As well as senior football there is junior football, and also amateur football and welfare football. In senior football in Scotland there is one national league, the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), which has four divisions. There are also several regional leagues (most notably the Highland Football League and since 2013 the Lowland Football League). From 2014–15, a promotion/relegation play-off between the two regional leagues and the SPFL national league was introduced for the first time. Two clubs based in England play in the senior Scottish system - Berwick Rangers in the Lowland League and Tweedmouth Rangers in the East of Scotland League. A small number of English amateur clubs in the lowest levels of the game, based on or around the Anglo-Scottish border, also compete in Border Amateur Football League for geographical and travel reasons. - Il sistema del campionato scozzese di calcio è costituito da una serie di leghe calcistiche raggruppate in due settori distinti, quello professionistico o "senior" e quello dilettantistico o "junior". Nel calcio "senior" vi sono i quattro campionati nazionali, mentre tra i semiprofessionisti ci sono numerosi campionati di livello regionale come, ad esempio, l'Highland Football League, storicamente il più importante di questi, e solo da poco tempo si è creata un'interconnessione, che è invece ancora esclusa col calcio puramente dilettantistico. Il Glasgow Rangers è la squadra più titolata del paese con 55 campionati nazionali all'attivo. Una squadra "senior" con sede in Inghilterra, il Berwick Rangers di Berwick-upon-Tweed, gioca nella Scottish League Two. Ma vi sono anche altre squadre che giocano a livelli amatoriali che, pur avendo sede in città inglesi, partecipano ai livelli inferiori del campionato scozzese in quanto vicine al confine tra i due paesi. - Het Schots voetbalsysteem (of voetbalpyramide) is een reeks van samenhangende voetbalcompetities in het Schots voetbal georganiseerd door de Schotse voetbalbond (SFA). De moderne versie van het voetbalsysteem dateert van 1975. Het Schotse systeem bestaat in tegenstelling tot andere voetbalsystemen uit twee volledig gescheiden stelsels van competities en clubs: Senior voetbal en Junior voetbal. Waarbij dient te worden aangetekend dat beide systemen niets te maken hebben met de leeftijd van de participerende spelers. In Senior voetbal zijn er in Schotland twee nationale competities: de Scottish Premier League en de Scottish Football League, welke bestaat uit drie lagere divisies. Bovendien bestaan er verscheidene regionale divisies, maar er is geen promotie of degradatie mogelijk tussen de regionale en nationale competities. Vanaf het seizoen 2005/06 geldt echter een regel die zegt dat als een club drie opeenvolgende jaren laatste eindigt in de Scottish Football League Third Division, de laagste nationale voetbalcompetitie, haar stemrecht verliest. De club zal dan 2 jaar als een niet-stemgerechtigd lid moeten spelen waarna de stemgerechtigde leden over het lot van deze club zullen beslissen. Als er een plaats vrij komt door bijvoorbeeld een faillissement kunnen clubs uit de regionale competities een aanvraag doen om toe te mogen treden tot de Football League. Gretna FC had bijvoorbeeld een succesvolle poging in 2002, toen Airdrieonians FC failliet was verklaard. Berwick Rangers, spelend op Engels grondgebied, speelt sinds 1955 in het Schotse voetbalsysteem. (nl)

Профессиональный клуб «Бервик Рейнджерс», базирующийся в Англии, выступает в шотландской футбольной лиге.
