- Die Remote Control Productions GmbH (rcp) ist ein in München ansässiges, unabhängiges und international tätiges Produktionshaus für Unterhaltungssoftware. Als remote control family bildet rcp ein Netzwerk von 450 Mitarbeitern und 16 Spielefirmen. Laut eigenen Angaben ist rcp somit „...Europas größte Entwickler-Familie“. Dazu gehören Unternehmen in Deutschland, Österreich, Finnland und Pakistan. Zusammen mit seinen Entwickler-Studios produzierte Remote Control Productions bisher mehr als 350 Spiele und Softwareprojekte für diverse Spieleplattformen. Zu den erfolgreichsten Projekten zählen Son of Nor (Stillalive Studios), Bernd das Brot und die Unmöglichen bzw. Angry Birds Evolutions von Chimera Entertainment und die Bus-Simulator-Reihe (Stillalive Studios). Der bisher kommerzielle größte Erfolg war das von Chimera Entertainment und Rovio Entertainment koproduzierte Rollenspiel Angry Birds Epic, das im Juni 2014 für iOS, Windows Phone und Android veröffentlicht wurde. Angry Birds Epic wurde seit dem Erscheinen über 120 Millionen Mal heruntergeladen. Remote Control Productions ist Gründungsmitglied des Games Bavaria Munich e. V. Partner von rcp waren u. a. ProSiebenSat.1 Digital, Rovio Entertainment, Disney, Bigpoint, Ubisoft, Ravensburger Interactive Digital, dtp Entertainment, Koch Media/Deep Silver, chillingo, oder DeNA. (de)
