- Hauptmann Paul Henning Aldabert Theodor von Osterroht (13 September 1887–23 April 1917) IC was a German military aviation pioneer who became a flying ace in World War I. After valorous service as a bomber pilot and commander, he was called upon to found one of the original German Jagdstaffels. By March 1917 he led that unit into combat. Between 29 March and noon of 23 April, he scored seven aerial victories. Six hours later, he was killed in action while on patrol. (en)

Był synem kapitana dragonów. Służbę rozpoczął w 1906 w 152 Pułku Piechoty w Malborku. 13 kwietnia 1912 został wysłany na szkolenie pilotażu w Gocie i 9 października uzyskał licencję pilota nr 305. Służył w BAO jako pilot. W 1916 został przeniesiony do jednostki bojowej . 6 października 1916 został mianowany pierwszym dowódcą nowo utworzonej eskadry myśliwskiej Jagdstaffel 12. Eskadrą dowodził do 23 kwietnia 1917, kiedy poniósł śmierć w walce w okolicy Cambrai. (pl)
