- Das Jacobsen Valley (englisch; bulgarisch долина Якобсен dolina Jakobsen) ist ein seichtes, 3,5 km langes und 1,2 km breites Tal in der Sentinel Range des Ellsworthgebirges im westantarktischen Ellsworthland. Es erstreckt sich nördlich des Mount Vinson. Begrenzt wird es nach Westen durch den Branscomb Peak und den Galicia Peak, nach Osten durch einen niedrigen Gebirgskamm zwischen der Ostseite des Mount Vinson und dem Goodge Col. Das Tal wird von einem Nebengletscher des Branscomb-Gletschers entwässert, der zur klassischen Aufstiegsroute zum Mount Vinson gehört. US-amerikanische Wissenschaftler kartierten es 1988. Die bulgarische Kommission für Antarktische Geographische Namen benannte es 2010 nach Solveig Gunbjørg Jacobsen (1913–1996), die am 8. Oktober 1913 in Grytviken auf Südgeorgien als erster südlich der antarktischen Konvergenz geborener Mensch zur Welt gekommen war. (de)
- Jacobsen Valley (Bulgarian: долина Якобсен, ‘Dolina Jacobsen’ \do-li-'na 'ya-kob-sen\) is the shallow valley in Vinson Massif, Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, descending northwards from the summit of Antarctica Mount Vinson (4892 m). It is 3.5 km long and 1.2 km wide, and is bounded to the west by Branscomb Peak and Galicia Peak, and to the east by a minor ridge running between the east side of Mount Vinson to the south and Goodge Col to the north. Draining the valley is a glacier tributary to Branscomb Glacier, part of the classical route to the summit Mount Vinson. The valley is named after the Norwegian woman pioneer of Antarctica Solveig Gunbjørg Jacobsen (1913–1996), the first native child of the Antarctic region born in Grytviken on 8 October 1913. (en)
