- Mezinárodní mistrovství Evropy v ragby 2020–21 byla čtvrtou sezónou nového formátu, kde všechny úrovně hrají v jednoletém cyklu. Z důvodů bezpečnosti (covid-19) se v tomto ročníku odehrálo pouze Rugby Europe Championship, ostatní skupiny se nehrály. Pro všechny týmy se letošní ročník mezinárodního mistrovství Evropy v ragby stává prvním ročníkem kvalifikace na Mistrovství světa v ragby 2023 pro evropský region, kde se vítězný a druhý tým dvouletého cyklu automaticky kvalifikují do turnaje a třetí tým se kvalifikuje do závěrečného kvalifikačního turnaje. - The 2020–21 Rugby Europe International Championships is the European Championship for tier 2 and tier 3 rugby union nations. The 2020–21 season is the fourth of its new format and structure, where all Levels play on a one-year cycle, replacing the old format of a two-year cycle, with the teams playing each other both home and away. For all teams competing in the Championship, this year's edition of the Rugby Europe International Championships doubles as the first year of 2023 Rugby World Cup qualifiers for the European region, where the winner and runner-up teams of the two-year cycle, automatically qualifies to the tournament as Europe 1 and Europe 2. The third team qualifies to the Final qualification tournament. (en)
- Die Rugby Europe International Championships 2020/21 waren ein Rugby-Union-Wettbewerb für europäische Nationalmannschaften der zweiten und dritten Stärkeklasse, unterhalb der Six Nations. Es handelte sich um die 46. Ausgabe der Rugby-Union-Europameisterschaft. Den Europameistertitel gewann zum 13. Mal Georgien. Ursprünglich war geplant, wie üblich die Turniere aller vier Divisionen durchzuführen. Aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie beschloss Rugby Europe jedoch, nur die höchstklassige Rugby Europe Championship auszutragen und auf die Durchführung der Rugby Europe Trophy, der Rugby Europe Conference (aufgeteilt in Conference 1 und 2) sowie das Turnier Rugby Europe Development zu verzichten. Die diesjährige Ausgabe der Rugby Europe International Championships war gleichzeitig das erste Jahr der europäischen Qualifikation für die Weltmeisterschaft 2023. Während der Sieger und der Zweitplatzierte des Zweijahreszyklus automatisch als Europa 1 und Europa 2 qualifiziziert waren, nahm die drittplatzierte Mannschaft am abschließenden Qualifikationsturnier teil. - Le Championnat international d'Europe 2020-2021, désigné en anglais sous le terme de International Championships, est une compétition qui réunit les nations membres de Rugby Europe ne participant pas au Tournoi des Six Nations. En raison de la pandémie de Covid-19, seule la principale division, le Championship, est programmée. Le match de barrage devant opposer la Belgique et les Pays-Bas n'ayant pas encore pu se tenir, la compétition débute en mars sans l'une de ces deux équipes, qui jouera ses matchs en juillet et novembre 2021. La compétition fait partie du tournoi de qualification à la coupe du monde 2023. Les divisions inférieures (Trophy, Conférence 1 et 2, Développement) sont annulées pour l'exercice 2020-2021. (fr)
- I campionati internazionali Rugby Europe 2020-21 (in inglese 2020-21 Rugby Europe International Championships) furono la 5ª edizione dei Campionati internazionali Rugby Europe, la 50ª edizione del torneo internazionale organizzato da FIRA-AER/Rugby Europe) nonché il 50º campionato europeo di rugby a 15.Si tenne dal 6 marzo 2021 al 18 dicembre 2021 tra 6 squadre che si affrontarono con la formula del girone unico con gare di sola andata.Per via delle limitazioni di movimento imposte quale contrasto alla pandemia di COVID-19, si tenne solo la divisione superiore, che funse anche da primo turno di qualificazione europea alla Coppa del Mondo di rugby 2023. In tale edizione di torneo vide la luce anche la Coppa Kiselëv, trofeo creato dalla federazione russa per omaggiare la memoria di Pavel Dmitrievič Kiselëv, dignitario zarista del XIX secolo che governò Moldavia e Valacchia promuovendone l'unificazione e la prima costituzone e messo annualmente in palio negli incontri con la Romania.Fu proprio la Russia, vincendo 18-13 nella prima giornata di torneo, ad aggiudicarsi l'edizione inaugurale del trofeo. Campione si laureò, per la tredicesima volta, la Georgia, che si aggiudicò anche la Coppa Antim nell'incontro annuale con la Romania, giunta seconda.Ai fini della qualificazione alla Coppa del Mondo, i punti ottenuti da ciascuna squadra nella stagione 2020-21 vanno sommati a quelli conseguiti nella stagione seguente; le due squadre a miglior punteggio complessivo sono qualificate.
