Vincenzo Azzolini (5 December 1881 – 2 August 1967) was an Italian economist. He served as Governor of the Bank of Italy between 1931 and 1944 in succession to Bonaldo Stringher. It was a challenging time politically, economically and internationally. D'accordo con l'allora Ministro delle Finanze della Repubblica Sociale Italiana Domenico Pellegrini-Giampietro impedì il trasferimento in Germania del Poligrafico dello Stato e dell', che avrebbe permesso alla Germania di stampare lire a volontà distruggendo il potere di acquisto della valuta. In effetti, tale potere d'acquisto non fu intaccato che in minima parte, e crollò catastroficamente soltanto dopo la liberazione da parte delle forze alleate.
