- Olimpijka ist der Name für eine in den 1970er Jahren geplante Autobahn von Berlin nach Moskau. Einer der Gründe, die zur Entscheidung für den Bau führten, war das zeitliche Näherrücken der Olympischen Sommerspiele 1980 in Moskau. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt sollte der Teil von Września bis Warschau fertiggestellt sein.Die Arbeiten begannen an den Abschnitten Września–Konin und Nieborów–Warschau, es wurde jedoch nur ersterer beendet, der Rest des Projektes wurde nicht realisiert. 2010 bis 2012 wurde die Autobahn A2 auf derselben Trasse wie die geplante Olimpijka gebaut. - Olimpijka was an informal name for the planned in 1970s motorway connecting Berlin with Moscow. One of the reasons for the decision to build the highway were the then-upcoming 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. The decision was made that in Poland, the new highway would be built between Września and Warsaw. From the 1970s there was already a modernized to dual carriageway road stretch of E8 route (currently national road 92) around Poznań, with length of about 66 kilometres (41 mi) that ended in Września, which determined the choice of starting point of the motorway. At first (1976) the construction was started on two fragments: Września – Konin and Nieborów – Warsaw. The first one was the only one that – with a large delay – was made during the times of Polish People's Republic. The construction near Nieborów had been abandoned in 1980. Currently both fragments of Olimpijka are part of motorway A2. (en)
- L'autostrada Olimpijka era il nome in gergo della progettata autostrada da Berlino a Mosca degli anni '70. Il motivo principale di questa costruzione era l'avvento delle Olimpiadi di Mosca del 1980, ma per allora era stato costruito solo un piccolo pezzo nell'ovest della Polonia (cioè l'odierno tratto aperto dell'autostrada A2) e vari ponti e viadotti nel resto del tratto. La costruzione di questa autostrada era divisa in due parti: la prima era da Września a Konin, mentre la seconda era da Nieborów a Varsavia. Soltanto nel 1985 venne aperto al traffico il tratto da Września a (lungo 34 km) che, nel 1989, venne ampliato fino a Konin. Della seconda parte vennero costruiti soltanto dei viadotti, dei ponti o delle vie nelle foreste che erano già pronte per ospitare l'autostrada, alcune delle quali dov'era già stato versato l'asfalto e dove oggi rimangono dei residui. Uno dei punti più interessanti sono le colonne che avrebbero dovuto fare da sostegno a una linea ferroviaria ad alta velocità, anch'essa inesistente. Un'altra cosa curiosa è il brevissimo tratto da Bolimów a Wiskitki che è segnalata dalla cartine stradali come un'eterna autostrada in costruzione e da altre come vera autostrada aperta al traffico, ma veramente è una strada utilizzata dagli abitanti locali e il progetto dell'autostrada A2 ha utilizzato questo tratto per arrivare fino a Varsavia. - Olimpijka – potoczna nazwa planowanej w latach 70. XX wieku autostrady Berlin – Moskwa. Jednym z powodów podjęcia decyzji o budowie były zbliżające się igrzyska olimpijskie w Moskwie w roku 1980. Zapadła decyzja, że przed Igrzyskami, w Polsce zostanie oddany jedynie odcinek od Wrześni do Warszawy. Od lat. 70. wokół Poznania istniał już zmodernizowany dwujezdniowy odcinek drogi E8 (m.in. Berlin – Moskwa) o długości ok. 66 km kończący się we Wrześni, co zdecydowało o wyborze punktu początkowego autostrady. Początkowo (1976) podjęto prace na odcinkach Września – Konin i Nieborów – Warszawa. Pierwszy z wymienionych odcinków jest jedynym, który został – z dużym opóźnieniem – zbudowany w czasach PRL. Budowa odcinka w Nieborowie została porzucona w 1980 roku. Obecnie oba odcinki Olimpijki są częścią autostrady A2. (pl)

Het gedeelte tussen Września en Warschau had voor de Spelen gereed moeten zijn. De werkzaamheden startten op de trajecten Września−Konin en Nieborow−Warschau, maar werden vroegtijdig stopgezet.
