- Die Ekstraklasa 2018/19 war die 85. Spielzeit der höchsten polnischen Fußball-Spielklasse der Herren seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 1927. Insgesamt nahmen sechzehn Vereine an der Saison 2018/19 teil. Die Saison begann am 20. Juli 2018 und endete am 19. Mai 2019. Vom 23. Dezember 2018 bis zum 7. Februar 2019 wurde sie durch eine verkürzte Winterpause unterbrochen. Der Meister qualifizierte sich für die UEFA Champions League 2019/20, der Zweite und Dritte für die UEFA Europa League 2019/20. Die beiden letztplatzierten Vereine stiegen in die 1. Liga ab. Aufsteiger aus der zweiten polnischen Liga war erstmals in der Vereinsgeschichte Miedź Legnica sowie nach zuletzt 2007/08 Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Titelverteidiger war Legia Warschau. Den Titel gewann erstmals in der Vereinsgeschichte Piast Gliwice. Am Ende der Saison mussten die beiden Aufsteiger Miedź Legnica und Zagłębie Sosnowiec wieder den Gang in die 1. Liga antreten. (de)
- The 2018–19 Ekstraklasa was the 93rd season of the Polish Football Championship, the 85th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 11th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The league was operated by the Ekstraklasa SA. The season started on 20 July 2018 and concluded on 19 May 2019. It is the second Ekstraklasa season to use VAR. After the 20th matchday the league went on a winter break between 23 December 2018 and 8 February 2019. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 16 teams participated, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2017–18 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the 2017–18 I liga. The fixtures were announced on 22 March 2018. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. After the 30th round (in the beginning of April 2019), the league was split into two groups: championship round (top eight teams) and relegation round (bottom eight teams). Each team played 7 more games (teams ranked 1 to 4 and 9 to 12 played four times at home). Therefore, each team played a total of 37 matches. The team at the top of the Championship round won the league title. The two teams at the bottom of the Relegation round were relegated to 2019–20 I liga. This was the sixth season to take place since the new playoff structure has been introduced. The defending champions were Legia Warsaw, who won their 13th Polish title the previous season. Piast Gliwice succeeded Legia, winning its first ever Polish top league title. (en)

- Ekstraklasa 2018/2019 – 93. edycja oficjalnych mistrzostw Polski w piłce nożnej mężczyzn, po raz 85. przeprowadzona w formule ligowej, jako najwyższy szczebel w hierarchii. Organizatorem rozgrywek była Ekstraklasa SA, a brały w nich udział drużyny 16 profesjonalnych klubów piłkarskich. Sponsorem tytularnym był Totalizator Sportowy, właściciel marki Lotto, w związku z czym obowiązywała nazwa marketingowa Lotto Ekstraklasa. Wzorem pięciu wcześniejszych edycji sezon składał się z dwóch części: fazy zasadniczej (30 kolejek, 240 spotkań) oraz – następującej po niej – fazy finałowej w dwóch grupach (7 kolejek, 56 meczów), po raz drugi nie były jednak dzielone punkty pomiędzy obiema fazami. Zmagania rozpoczęły się 20 lipca 2018, a zakończyły 19 maja 2019 (przerwa zimowa trwała 63 dni). Łącznie rozegranych zostało 296 spotkań. Beniaminkami byli: Miedź Legnica (po raz pierwszy w Ekstraklasie) i Zagłębie Sosnowiec (powrót na najwyższy szczebel po 10 latach przerwy). Tytułu mistrzowskiego broniła Legia Warszawa. Pierwszego gola rozgrywek strzelił w meczu Miedź Legnica – Pogoń Szczecin zawodnik gospodarzy Petteri Forsell. Tytuł mistrzowski zdobył po raz pierwszy w historii Piast Gliwice. Królem strzelców został Igor Angulo, zawodnik Górnika Zabrze, zdobywca 24 bramek. (pl)
