- مجزرة زفورنيك هي أعمال قتل جماعي وعنف ضد البوشناق وغيرهم من المدنيين غير الصرب في زفورنيك من قبل القوات شبه العسكرية الصربية (أركانوفتشي ووحدات الدفاع الإقليمي والنسور البيضاء وجماعة الدبابير الصفراء) في بداية حرب البوسنة في 1992م. كان ذلك جزءا من حملة أوسع للتطهير العرقي في حرب البوسنة فحسب أحد التقديرات فإن 40,000 من البوشناق طردوا من منطقة زفورنيك. كانت زفورنيك المدينة الثانية في البوسنة والهرسك التي استولت عليها القوات الصربية بالقوة خلال الحرب البوسنية. فقد قتل أو فقد ما مجموعه 3,936 شخص في بلدية زفورنيك في الفترة ما بين 1992 و1995م (من بينهم 2,017 كانوا من البوشناق المدنيين) وفقاً لمركز البحوث والتوثيق في سراييفو. أقامت الامم المتحدة المحكمة الجنائية الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة (ICTY) وأدين خمسة من المسؤولين الصرب ثبتت إدانتهم بالاضطهاد والنقل القسري و/أو الترحيل والقتل والاحتجاز غير القانوني والتعذيب (جرائم ضد الإنسانية) والتدمير الوحشي ونهب الممتلكات (انتهاك قانون الحرب). - Le massacre de Zvornik fait référence à des actes de massacre et de violence de masse commis contre des Bosniaques et d'autres civils non serbes à Zvornik par des groupes paramilitaires serbes(Arkanovci, unités de Défense Territoriale, Bérets rouges, Aigles Blancs, Guêpes Jaunes) au début de la guerre de Bosnie en 1992. Cela faisait partie d'une campagne plus large de nettoyage ethnique pendant la guerre de Bosnie : selon une estimation, 40 000 bosniaques ont été expulsés du district de Zvornik. C'était la deuxième ville de Bosnie-Herzégovine qui a été prise de force par les forces serbes pendant la guerre de Bosnie. - The Zvornik massacre refers to acts of mass murder and violence committed against Bosniaks and other non-Serb civilians in Zvornik by Serb paramilitary groups (Arkanovci, Territorial Defence units, White Eagles, Yellow Wasps) at the beginning of the Bosnian War in 1992. It was part of a wider campaign of ethnic cleansing in the Bosnian War: by one estimate, 40,000 Bosniaks were expelled from the Zvornik district. It was the second city in Bosnia and Herzegovina that was forcefully taken over by Serb forces during the Bosnian War. A total of 3,936 people were killed or went missing in the Zvornik municipality between 1992 and 1995 (of which 2,017 were Bosniak civilians), according to the Research and Documentation Center in Sarajevo. The U.N. established International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) convicted five Serb officials, who were found guilty of persecution, forcible transfer and/or deportation, murder, unlawful detention, torture (crimes against humanity) and wanton destruction, plunder of property (violations of law of war).
