Winnie Holzman (born in 1954 in New York City) is an award-winning American dramatist, screenwriter and poet. She is best known as the creator of the television series My So-Called Life, which originally aired on ABC. Holzman earned an Emmy Award nomination for writing in 1995 for My So-Called Life. She also wrote for the TV series The Wonder Years, thirtysomething and Once and Again.

Holzman has had a number of acting spots, primarily featured in cameo roles on her own TV shows and a recurring role as a therapist on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
