- A White ethnostate is a proposed type of state in which residence or citizenship would be limited to whites, and non-whites, such as Blacks, Asians, Jews, Middle Easterners and North Africans and Hispanics would be excluded from citizenship. Within the Anglosphere, the natives of their respective countries would also be excluded from citizenship, such as the natives of the United States, the natives of Canada, the natives of Australia and the natives of New Zealand. In the United States, proposals for the establishment of such a state are advanced by White supremacist and White separatist factions such as Ku Klux Klansmen and Neo-Nazis. Some of these factions claim that a certain part of the country should have a white majority and other factions claim that the entire country should have a white majority. Most white ethnostate movements envision a state which will be solely inhabited by White Anglo-Saxon Protestants and/or people who are of Northern European descent. Historical attempts to establish a white ethnostate include Apartheid-era South Africa, where the black population was pushed into areas which were known as Bantustans through various means, including deportations and racial segregation, with the aim of establishing separate states out of the resulting ethnically cleansed areas, the largest of which would be turned into a white state. - Con etnostato bianco si intende una teoria politica razzista, identitaria e razzialista nell'ambito dell'ideologia del nazionalismo bianco e del potere bianco. Essa si differenzia sia dalla democrazia etnica (dove sono garantiti i diritti a tutti ma vi è un'etnia dominante), sia dal particolarismo etnonazionalista (che prevede piccole patrie), che dall'Herrenvolk (dominio di un'etnia su altre, come nella segregazione razziale), in quanto l'etnocentrismo fa sì che vi sia una sola etnia presente e rappresentata. Di solito si tratta di progetti di stati mononazionali o plurinazionali che comprendano però solo bianchi. Solitamente è stato proposto da esponenti del Ku Klux Klan e dell'alt-right statunitensi, da movimenti del neonazismo e del neofascismo o indipendentisti afrikaner, e nella storia è stato applicato tramite deportazioni, pulizia etnica o genocidio in alcuni paesi come la Germania nazista e il Sudafrica dell'apartheid, dopo l'istituzione dei bantustan, benché tale processo non sia mai stato completato.
