- Vilina Vlas ist ein Hotel etwa vier Kilometer nordöstlich von Višegrad (Bosnien und Herzegowina), das während des Bosnienkrieges als Internierungslager verwendet wurde. Es diente dazu, weibliche Bosniaken zu internieren und zu vergewaltigen. Die Insassen wurden vom serbischen Wachpersonal geschlagen, gefoltert und ermordet. - Le Vilina Vlas est un hôtel situé près de Višegrad, en Bosnie-Herzégovine. Il fait partie des principaux centres de détention et des camps de viol où les civils Bosniaques prisonniers étaient battus, torturés et assassinés et, dans le cas des femmes, violées par des Serbes pendant les massacres de Višegrad commis au cours de la guerre de Bosnie-Herzégovine dans les années 1990. Le bâtiment se trouve dans le village de Višegradska Banja, à 4 kilomètres environ au nord-est de Višegrad. Après la guerre, le Vilina Vlas rouvre et accueille des touristes. - Vilina Vlas was a rape camp active during the Bosnian War. It served as one of the main detention facilities where Bosniak civilian prisoners were beaten, tortured and murdered and the women raped by prison guards during the Višegrad massacres in the Bosnian War of the 1990s. It is located about four kilometers north-east of Višegrad, in the village of Višegradska Banja. After the war, Vilina Vlas was re-opened as a tourist facility. The local authorities have actively opposed a memorial and suppressed mention of their atrocities in the once primarily Muslim region. (en)
