- قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 473، المتخذ بالإجماع في 13 حزيران / يونيو 1980، بعد التذكير بالقرارات 392 (1976)، 417 (1977)، 418 (1977)، 454 (1979) و466 (1980) ورسائل لجنة جنوب أفريقيا، وأعرب المجلس عن قلقه وأدان جنوب أفريقيا لقتل المتظاهرين، بمن فيهم أطفال المدارس، المعارضين للفصل العنصري. ودعا القرار إلى إطلاق سراح السجناء السياسيين، بمن فيهم نيلسون مانديلا، بموجب عفو مقترح. كما أعرب عن تعاطفه مع ضحايا العنف، داعياً إلى إنهاء تشريعات الفصل العنصري التي تؤثر على وسائل الإعلام والمحاكمات والمنظمات وتكافؤ الفرص. كما دعا المجلس جنوب أفريقيا إلى وقف الهجمات العسكرية على البلدان الأخرى، وشجع الدول الأعضاء الأخرى على تعزيز حظر الأسلحة المفروض على البلاد. - La Resolució 473 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides, fou aprovada per unanimitat el 13 de juny de 1980.Després de recordar resolucions 392 (1976), 417 (1977), 418 (1977), 454 (1979) i la 466 (1980) i les cartes del Comitè per a Sud-àfrica, el Consell va expressar la seva preocupació i va condemnar Sud-àfrica per l'assassinat de manifestants, inclosos escolars, oposats a l'apartheid. La resolució va demanar l'alliberament de presos polítics, inclòs Nelson Mandela, sota una proposta d'amnistia. També va expressar la seva simpatia amb les víctimes de la violència i va demanar la fi de la legislació d'apartheid que afecta els , judicis, organitzacions i igualtat d'oportunitats. - United Nations Security Council resolution 473, adopted unanimously on 13 June 1980, after recalling resolutions 392 (1976), 417 (1977), 418 (1977), 454 (1979) and 466 (1980) and letters from the Committee for South Africa, the council expressed its concern and condemned South Africa for the killing of protesters, including schoolchildren, opposed to apartheid. The resolution went on to call for the release of political prisoners, including Nelson Mandela, under a proposed amnesty. It also expressed sympathy with victims of the violence, calling for an end to apartheid legislation that affects the news media, trials, organisations and equal opportunities. The council also called on South Africa to cease military attacks on other countries, and encourages other Member States to reinforce the arms embargo on the country. (en)
