- نظرية السلوك المخطط هي نظرية نفسية اجتماعية حول العلاقة بين المواقف والسلوك، في عام 1985 أجرى العالم النفسي أجزن (icek ajzen) توسيع لنظرية الفعل المعقول، فحصل على نظرية السلوك المخطّط التي تؤكد على قاعدة النية قبل أداء السلوك لكن تتطرق إلى الحالات التي لا يسيطر فيها الفرد على كل العوامل التي تؤثر على الأداء الفعلي للسلوك. كنتيجة فإن النظرية الجديدة تؤكد على أن حدوث السلوك الفعلي يتناسب مع مقدار السيطرة التي يمارسها الفرد على سلوكه وقوة نوايا هذا الفرد لتنفيذ هذا السلوك. وفي مقالة لأجزن عام 1985 يفترض أن الكفاءة الذاتية هامة لتحديد القوة التي ينوي بها الفرد تحقيق سلوك ما. - La teoría del comportamiento planeado (del inglés: Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB)) fue desarrollada en 1985, basándose en la Teoría de la Acción Razonada. Esta teoría (TCP) contiene cinco variables donde se incluye el parte de la actitud, la norma subjetiva y el locus de control, dichas variables tienen una influencia en la intención de llevar a a cabo una conducta, por lo que a mayor intención mayor probabilidad de que la conducta sea realizada. A diferencia de la teoría de la acción razonada, a la teoría del comportamiento planeado se le agrega el control del comportamiento percibido también conocido como locus de control (como un posible equivalente de la auto-eficacia), el cual se refiere a las percepciones de una persona sobre la presencia o ausencia de recursos y oportunidades requeridos, lo cual lleva a la persona a una evaluación de la situación como que tan probable es que con sus recursos pueda realizar su conducta, esto además de los factores externos de lo cuales el sujeto no tiene control absoluto. Asimismo, la teoría del comportamiento planeado ha demostrado ser superior a la teoría de la acción razonada para la predicción del comportamiento. (es)

- The theory of planned behavior (TPB) is a psychological theory that links beliefs to behavior. The theory maintains that three core components, namely, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, together shape an individual's behavioral intentions. In turn, a tenet of TPB is that behavioral intention is the most proximal determinant of human social behavior. The theory was elaborated by Icek Ajzen for the purpose of improving the predictive power of the theory of reasoned action (TRA). Ajzen's idea was to include perceived behavioral control in TPB. Perceived behavior control was not a component of TRA. TPB has been applied to studies of the relations among beliefs, attitudes, , and behaviors in various human domains.
