Le Teutsche Academie (titre complet : Teutsche Academie der Edlen Bau- Bild- und Mahlerey-Künste) est un recueil de biographies d'artistes rédigé et publié par Joachim von Sandrart en 1675 (en allemand), puis en 1683 (en latin). Sandrart réalise lui-même les portraits gravés, puis est accompagné du graveur luxembourgeois Richard Collin pour l'édition en latin de 1683. La plupart des biographies ont été traduites à l'allemand à partir de travaux de Carel van Mander (Schilder-boeck) et Cornelis de Bie (Het Gulden Cabinet), tous les deux écrits en néerlandais. Mais Sandrart a beaucoup voyagé en Europe et a pu ajouter plusieurs biographies originales d'artistes allemands. Les portraits d'artistes morts avant son époque sont basés sur des gravures du XVIe siècle de Jérôme Cock et Joannes Meyssens, lesquelles avaient déjà été publiées dans Het Gulden Cabinet. (fr)

La prima versione fu pubblicata nel 1675 e includeva una raccolta di biografie di artisti che, in seguito, furono accompagnate da illustrazioni di per un'edizione latina del 1683 di . L'elenco di illustrazioni di ritratti segue ed è in ordine di pagina. La maggior parte delle biografie vennero tradotte in tedesco da precedenti lavori di Karel van Mander e Cornelis de Bie, ma Sandrart viaggiò molto in Europa e aggiunse alla sua lista molte biografie originali di artisti nati in Germania. I ritratti illustrati di artisti nati prima del suo tempo erano per lo più basati su incisioni del XVII secolo di Hieronymus Cock e Jan Meyssens, molti dei quali erano stati anche ripubblicati in Het Gulden Cabinet di de Bie. The first version was published in 1675 and it included a compilation of artist biographies that were later accompanied by illustrations by Richard Collin for a 1683 Latin edition by . The list of portrait illustrations follows and is in page order. Most of the biographies were translated into German from earlier work by Karel van Mander and Cornelis de Bie, but Sandrart had travelled extensively in Europe and added many original biographies of German-born artists to his list. The illustrated portraits of artists born before his time were mostly based on 17th-century engravings by Hieronymus Cock and Jan Meyssens, many of which had also been re-published in De Bie's Het Gulden Cabinet.
